    Lakefront chalet booking

    My recent stay at the resort was really nice. The location is so peaceful and calm, with lovely views of the lake - perfect for just chilling out. The chalets were modern and well looked after, which made for a really comfy stay. I liked that the resort doesn't allow dogs, as I prefer a quiet atmosphere when I'm on holiday. The area around the resort is great for going on nice walks, which is perfect for someone like me who loves nature. However, I did have an issue with the 10% deposit. It wasn't clear that I would need to pay an extra deposit after 8 weeks, which was a bit confusing and inconvenient. There wasn't a reminder about this extra payment, so I was worried I might lose my booking and the initial deposit. If the policy had been explained more clearly, it would have made my whole experience better.

    Family holiday at the resort

    This place was absolutely amazing for a family holiday! We had such a great time with loads of fun activities to enjoy. Our cabin was spacious enough for everyone, although the kitchen didn't have all the things we needed for a big family meal. We still managed to have some fantastic meals together, though. I would suggest bringing bikes to get around, it's really enjoyable! Even when we arrived in the dark during a storm, we didn't have any issues getting settled in. I highly recommend this place for an incredibly fun family weekend - there's no need to go anywhere else with all the great activities available right there. We will definitely be returning for more fun!

    Stay at a fun place

    The resort where we stayed was absolutely fantastic! We had a brilliant time relaxing in the lodge, and even though there were a few hiccups, it didn't dampen our enjoyment. The staff were incredibly friendly and all the food was delicious. We took part in lots of fun activities and games, although most of them were geared towards younger children. Unfortunately, the spa was a bit of a letdown with broken amenities and an odd smell. Nevertheless, the staff were great, despite messing up our massage reservation.

    Peaceful woodland resort

    I really enjoyed the eco-friendly initiatives at the woodland resort, but I do wish there were more solar panels and better access for people who don't have cars to get to nearby attractions. When I visited a nearby theme park, I noticed some land being built on, and I hope the resort minimises clearing land to protect biodiversity. I loved seeing all the different wildlife like birds, frogs, and newts. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they really created a lovely atmosphere during my stay.

    I bought a watch from this place and it's really bad. It doesn't work properly, keeps resetting and turning off. I tried emailing them but haven't received any reply. I wouldn't recommend them at all, it's just a waste of money.

    Weekend stay at resort

    My weekend stay at the resort was really disappointing. The Blue Lagoon closed early on the weekend at 6pm, which meant we couldn't enjoy it properly. There were teenagers running around swearing and being threatening, which was not the family-friendly vibe we were expecting. The food and service at the Farmhouse Grill were really not good at all, which just added to our disappointment. It seemed like the resort cared more about making money than making sure guests had a good time.

    Family holiday at a leisure resort

    My family and I had such a great time at the leisure resort. There were loads of activities for everyone to enjoy, making some really special memories for us. The staff were fantastic, especially the manager who went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I also want to mention the lost property staff who were able to find my son's mobile phone, which is really important for him as he has autism. I can't wait to book our next family holiday at the resort - it was just that good.

    Christmas experience at the resort

    The Christmas experience at the resort was absolutely amazing. The light shows were so impressive and really captured the festive feeling. The park was fantastic for kids to have fun in and discover, creating memories that will last a lifetime for families. The staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to help guests, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back next year to experience the magic all over again.

Laurel, who is the BDM, gave me clear guidance on what documents I needed for my mortgage application and made sure everything was in order. Thanks to Dave's hard work, I received a quick offer on the very first day. I would definitely suggest their services to anyone needing help with their mortgage application.

    My family 4-day break

    I've just got back from a brilliant 4-day break with my family at an amazing place. The staff there were really attentive and made sure we stayed safe, especially by the big blue pool. We decided to hire a buggy which turned out to be a great idea because our accommodation was quite far from all the fun activities. When we arrived at our lodge, it was clean and comfortable. The area we stayed in was really relaxed and peaceful.

    The resort is surrounded by lovely scenery, making it a great spot for a family break. The kids loved the pool, but the snow dome didn't quite live up to the hype. There weren't many activities for younger children, but the spa was fantastic. Unfortunately, our lodge wasn't as clean as we'd hoped when we arrived. The biggest letdown was that the bathroom in the lodge didn't have a door, which was quite awkward. Also, there were only two towels provided for the whole week and no washing machine, which wasn't ideal.

    Difficult cancellation process

    I'd recommend steering clear of buying from this company. I tried to cancel my order not long after I placed it, but was told it was already on its way from the warehouse. I've been trying to get in touch for a return but they haven't responded to my emails. I'd suggest avoiding this company altogether.

    As a visitor at the resort, I have to admit that I was really let down by the whole experience. It felt like they were charging extra for every little thing, from activities to facilities, and even just getting the room cleaned. The fact that all the restaurants and things to do shut down at 8 pm made our evenings pretty boring, especially when you're supposed to be having a good time with your family on holiday. On top of that, there wasn't even any evening entertainment to liven things up, which just added to the overall dull vibe of the resort. And don't get me started on how crazy expensive it was to get simple things like new sheets or have the room cleaned – it felt like they were taking advantage of families who just wanted a nice, chill holiday.

    Family stay at a resort

    Our recent stay at the resort was a bit of a mix. The kids had a blast at the Blue Lagoon and the Hive, and the staff were really friendly and sorted out any issues we had pretty quickly. It was great to have the hot water and TV problems fixed promptly, and they even gave us mattress toppers and extra pillows. The help we got from guest services and the gatehouse was top-notch too. The massage at the Well Spa Retreat was amazing, and we had a lovely meal at the Farmhouse Grill.

    But, we were a bit let down because there wasn't much for the younger kids to do and not many organised activities for them. The app and website were a bit rubbish too - not easy to use and didn't have much helpful info. The free meal they gave us as an apology wasn't great either. And when we tried to book things, the options were limited even though there were free slots when we were there. Some places didn't have many food choices, and not having anywhere to wash up was a pain.

    We also thought the extra activities and stuff were a bit expensive, which kind of put a downer on our overall experience at the resort. So yeah, there were definitely good parts to our stay, but there's definitely room for improvement to make things better for guests overall.

    Bluestone watch purchase

    I bought a watch from this resort not long ago, and I'm really disappointed with the customer service. I've been in touch several times by email to ask about returning the watch, but I haven't heard back at all. It seems like once they have your money, they don't care about helping you out anymore.

    Cancelled holiday refund

    My trip to the resort had to be cancelled because of Covid, which is totally fine with me. But it's been more than a month now, and I still haven't got my money back. It's really annoying, especially when I see my friends who booked with different companies getting their refunds in a week. I've sent a few emails to the resort, but all they keep saying is to "wait patiently". It's frustrating how they're not taking this seriously or keeping me updated. I definitely wouldn't suggest this resort to anyone after this.

    Recent Stay Experience

    When I stayed at the resort recently, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Firstly, the room wasn't as nice as I thought it would be - it was dirty and not well looked after. The pool was way too busy and the water was absolutely freezing, so I couldn't even have a nice, relaxing swim. What's more, I was really upset to find out that the prices for food at one of the restaurants on site were actually higher than what was on the menu. And then, to make matters worse, I had booked a table at another restaurant, paid a £20 deposit, but when I got there they said they had no record of my booking and couldn't refund me. It was really disappointing, to be honest.

    Disappointing stay

    I recently stayed at this resort and it was really disappointing. Even with everything going on right now, I couldn't believe there weren't any food places open at the resort. It was annoying to have to go off-site for every meal because the dining places closed so early. And on top of that, the staff were rude which just made things worse. The internet connection was also really unreliable, so it was hard to keep busy especially when most activities were closed. I definitely wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone else.

    Watch purchase

    I came across this incredible advert for a watch and it caught my attention, so I decided to buy it. I placed the order swiftly, but then I had a change of heart within minutes. I cancelled the order immediately, but to my surprise, I received an email confirming that it was dispatched 3 days later. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it once it arrives. It's really disappointing, their customer service is terrible and it seems like they don't even stick to their own policies. I would definitely suggest looking elsewhere for your shopping needs!
