Two Uber rides
I had to order Uber twice because the drivers kept getting lost, then got charged for cancellations. Also had problems getting a partial refund and didn't hear back from customer service. The food delivery was messed up multiple times too. The service itself was fine, but their customer service is terrible when there are problems.
Unreliable drivers
I'm really disappointed with the service from Uber lately. My son and I have had several rides cancelled by African drivers who then went on to charge us for the cancelled trip. It's just not on and needs to be sorted out straight away. If this carries on, we'll have to take legal action.
Late delivery and poor service
I've had a few instances where my deliveries have been late and the customer service reps haven't been very helpful. It's just not on really, I've had to put up with this sort of thing more than once now and it's left me feeling really annoyed and let down by the whole experience.
Uber ride
So I got in this Uber, right, and the driver couldn't even speak English. How am I meant to tell them where I need to go if they don't understand me? It was pretty annoying, you know? I always thought Uber drivers would speak English, but turns out not all of them do. It's like they can just get their driver's license without knowing the language. A real shame, to be honest.
Got ripped off by Uber
Yesterday I got an Uber and the bloke driving it tried to charge me double the fare. I paid with cash and then the app said I hadn't paid. They're a bunch of thieves.
Safe transportation service
In the early hours of the morning, on a dimly lit street in Berlin, a situation unfolded that left me feeling vulnerable and frightened. As a woman travelling alone, the Uber driver abruptly insisted I exit the vehicle. I explained that I was unfamiliar with the area and had no idea how to find my way home (certainly not in Berlin!). He then resorted to threatening to involve the police. When his intimidation tactics failed, he resorted to physically attempting to remove me from the car, using excessive force, including a belt around my neck (there is video evidence of this unsettling incident). Eventually, the police were called to the scene, but seemed indifferent to the severity of the situation. How can it be that as a woman simply seeking a safe journey home, I end up in such a distressing situation at the hands of an Uber driver? And on top of it all, I am expected to pay for this harrowing experience? (Despite the cancellation fee) I have taken photographs and videos to document what happened. A stern warning about Ömer in Berlin!!! (Vehicle registration: B-LL 1282)... and perhaps a caution about Uber in general...
Early morning ride booking experience
I recently booked a ride for early in the morning using the reservation system, only to find that the driver arrived 10 minutes early and bombarded me with messages to indicate their presence. This lack of respect for the booked time was highly disappointing, as the whole purpose of using the booking system was to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience. If I had wanted the stress and uncertainty of last-minute ordering, I would not have bothered with a reservation.
Uber ride experience
My recent ride service experience was really disappointing. Even though I gave the right location and paid for the ride, the driver still came to the wrong spot to pick me up. When I phoned the driver, he was adamant that he was in the right place, which was obviously not true. Cancelling the trip ended up costing me extra cash. I had to contact customer service and it took a frustrating 25 minutes to get a refund. It seems like there are some dodgy practices happening here, which is just not on.
Unauthorized Charges
I'm completely livid about the lack of security measures this company has. How on earth can someone make charges on my card without even having an Uber account? It's just not on that there isn't a straightforward way to get in touch with Uber directly to report this dodgy activity. It's obvious there's a major problem with security and verifying rides that needs sorting out ASAP. The fact that this happened to me suggests it's probably happening to others too, and that company should face legal consequences for letting it happen.
Ordered pizza for a large group
I had a really awful experience with this service. I ordered a bunch of pizzas from a well-known restaurant for a big group, but they were all delivered cold. When I called the restaurant to complain, they just gave me the runaround and told me to contact the delivery service. So, I reached out to them and they promised me a refund. However, when it finally came through, it was only 20% of what I had paid.
I tried to follow up with them multiple times through their customer service, but they didn't give me any real answers. They just kept bringing up the 20% refund and said the matter was settled, cutting off the chat without resolving anything. It's so frustrating how difficult they are making it for customers to get their money back. I definitely won't be using their service again or ordering from them.Unpredictable pricing and unreliable drivers
The prices for this service are honestly crazy! They go up so fast if you don't book straight away. It's so annoying that the cost isn't consistent for the same trip each day, it's impossible to plan ahead. And on top of that, I've had drivers say yes to picking me up and then cancel last minute, leaving me stuck and needing to find someone else. It's just not right, and it's so unprofessional. Sometimes there are no drivers around at all, putting me in a really tough spot. They really need to sort out their customer service to deal with all these problems.
Annoying call from driver
The driver gave me a call after the ride and was really rude (he was annoyed about a poor rating that wasn't mine). Uber didn't handle my complaint properly. I've been feeling quite uneasy ever since and won't be using their services anymore.

Uber is honestly the worst. I mean, they say the driver is only a minute away, but then they vanish into thin air and take ages to find you. And let's not even talk about how they always go the longest way possible. Can't they just take me straight to my destination? Please!
