Trampoline purchase
The trampoline I bought for my garden has been a brilliant purchase. My child adores it and can't get enough of playing on it for hours. The instructions that came with it weren't very clear, so putting it together was quite a challenge. I'd suggest allowing 3 or 4 hours for assembly, especially if you've never done it before. It's also helpful to have two adults helping out, but having three would definitely make things easier. Despite the initial struggles, once we got it set up, the trampoline turned out to be really strong and well-made. I reckon it's great value for money and is likely to last for many years.
Basketball hoop purchase
I've been having a lot of trouble with a well-known sports retailer lately, so I thought I'd give Big Game Hunters a go. Even though I hadn't heard of them before, I managed to find a great basketball hoop on their website. I placed my order on a Thursday, aiming for a Monday delivery. Much to my delight, it turned up early on Saturday afternoon, two days earlier than expected. Their fast responses to my emails, efficient service, and overall hassle-free experience really won me over. I've already told my friends on social media about Big Game Hunters and I'll definitely be shopping with them again in the future.
Evermeadow Playhouse with additional floor and cricket ball.
The ordering process was really easy, and the delivery was super quick. At first, there was a bit of a hold-up with the DHL delivery, which was annoying. But after a speedy call to customer service, everything got sorted, and my order came soon after. The Evermeadow Playhouse was easy to set up, but a bit disappointing that there wasn't any felt on the roof. Adding the cost of the floor brought the total to £149 plus delivery, which seemed a bit steep compared to other playhouses at the same price. I did manage to save a fiver on the delivery charge by throwing in a cheap cricket ball with my order.
Reeeed playhouse for my daughter!
My 4-year-old is absolutely in love with the new playhouse! It's really well made and simple to put together, especially with the labelled parts. It did take a bit longer than I expected to build, but I had a great time bonding with my dad over it. We even spruced it up with some lights, curtains, and window boxes, which has made it even more awesome! I definitely think it's worth the money, and the delivery was surprisingly quick. The customer service was excellent too, making it an all-around great experience!
Wigwam delivered quickly
The wigwam came really quickly (the next day) and we absolutely love it! It's made from natural materials like wooden poles and cotton canvas, with only a few small plastic pieces for the poles. We've chosen to leave it up in a room instead of dismantling it as it doesn't take up a lot of space and is simple to move downstairs when our grandson visits. Our tall son (6 ft) can even sit inside and play hide and seek with his son.
Playhouse roof leaking
I bought a playhouse from this company not long ago, and I was really upset to find out that the roof leaks when it rains. There was nothing on their website to suggest that the roof wasn't waterproof, so you can imagine my surprise when my floor ended up soaking wet after a heavy downpour. When I got in touch with the company to ask for help, all they did was offer a simple apology and told me to check a hidden part of the product care guide on how to improve the roof's waterproofing. I'm really disappointed with their lack of responsibility and poor customer service.
Awesome experience
I thought Big Game Hunters were great! Their website was really user-friendly and my order arrived super fast. When I had to contact customer service about a mistake in my last order, they were so professional and sorted it out right away. Even when I had to place an order over the phone during Covid, they were really helpful. The products I received were just what I was looking for and they were packaged really nicely. As a mum always on the lookout for toys that inspire creativity and keep my little ones entertained, the Sand Sailer Sandpit has really made a big difference. It was so easy to set up and provides lots of room for my kids to have fun and use their imagination. The strong build quality gives me confidence that it will withstand many play sessions. Wooden swing set
I was really let down by my shopping experience with this company. The staff were not very helpful and their policies were not great. I had problems with the returns label they gave me, which meant I ended up wasting time and effort. It wasn't clear that returns weren't free, which was annoying and inconvenient. Recently, I bought a set of Boules from this company and I must say, it was a good experience. The customer service was spot on - they quickly sent me a replacement and refunded my money when the parcel was delayed by the delivery company they used. The Boules were packaged well and were really good quality. Even with the delivery hiccup, I would definitely recommend this company for their products and customer service.
Limbo game
I got this Limbo game from this shop and it came really fast. But, there were a few small problems with it. I got in touch with customer service and they sent me a new one straight away, didn't even ask for the old one back. The replacement arrived the next day! Really good service, great job!
Trampoline cover
I was really disappointed with the trampoline cover because it was supposed to fit a 12 ft trampoline, but it was actually way too small and should have been labelled as an 8 ft cover. I paid for the cover using my full name, not my usual username for online reviews. My trampoline was pretty new and I had measured it before buying the cover, so it was really frustrating that it didn't fit properly. I had to use two tarpaulins and bricks to secure it in windy weather, which wasn't great. Overall, the cover is alright, but the sizing problem was a big disappointment.
Redwood Mansion purchase
We bought the Redwood Mansion from Big Game Hunters because it looked amazing, but unfortunately, the quality was really poor. Within just a month of having it, we had to get in touch with them twice. Firstly, the door broke apart, which was dangerous, and then the slats at the back started coming off. It was really frustrating because once you set it up, you can't just move it around easily - a little push and the whole back fell apart. We were really disappointed because we paid a lot for it, so we expected much better quality. The customer service from Big Game Hunters wasn't great either. We tried to contact them through LiveChat many times, but never got a response. They didn't even have a contact number, which made it even harder for us to sort out our problems. Even reaching out on social media didn't help much. Overall, it was a really poor experience with a company that charges such high prices for their products.

I bought a basketball hoop from this company not too long ago. Unfortunately, it started rusting and falling apart after only two months of using it. I got it as a Christmas gift, so you can imagine how disappointed I was. I tried to get in touch with the company by email, but my message got bounced back as undelivered. I even used the contact form on their website, but still got no response. What made me even more annoyed was the fact that they didn't provide a phone number for me to call. So, now I'm thinking about doing a chargeback if they don't get back to me soon, as I'm not sure how else to reach them.
Basketball Stand Purchase
I had such a disappointing experience with this company! I was excited to buy a basketball stand online because it said free delivery to U.K. Mainland. But when I tried to checkout, they wanted to add almost £48.00 for delivery to Aberdeen, which is still part of mainland U.K.! The customer service was terrible - they didn't seem to care and didn't want to talk about fixing the problem. As a customer, I felt really frustrated and unfairly treated with this extra charge and lack of thought for customers in Scotland. It's just not right to leave some parts of the country out of fair delivery deals nowadays. Come on, Big Game Hunters, sort it out and treat everyone the same!
