Decanter set purchase
I've been shopping at this store for quite a few years now, and I have to say that the service has always been top-notch. The products they offer are really good quality, so it's a trustworthy place to get your home essentials. The website is easy to use, which makes finding what you want a breeze. Being able to have a credit account here just adds to the convenience. However, I was a bit disappointed during a recent sale when the towelling bedcover I wanted was sold out. There was also a mishap where a blind was missing from my delivery, but the friendly staff quickly sorted it out and arranged for a replacement to be sent to me. Despite these little hitches, my latest purchase of a decanter set was a success – I found it at a great price in the sale and was really happy with the quality. This company is owned by n brown group they are in trouble on shares market .their answer to this is hike interest .the interest was 36.5% year 2000 this year interest has gone up to 59.5% .Best thing you can do is do not let your credit go up otherwise the interest hike is to make your account unaffordable meaning your payement will go on longer .or stay away from this group do your check first. Drawers
I just wanted to let you know that I don't usually write reviews unless things go wrong, but I couldn't resist sharing how great my experience was with this retailer. I bought a set of drawers and was pleasantly surprised when they were sent out within minutes of ordering and arrived the next morning. I was really impressed with how quickly they arrived and the high quality of the product. I'll definitely be recommending this shop to others!
Awesome bedding set
The bedding set I bought was absolutely amazing, it had unicorns all over it and it made my room look so magical! However, when it arrived, the package was a bit squashed and the duvet cover had a small tear. I felt a bit disappointed, but I decided to give them a call. To my surprise, they were really nice and understanding. They sent me a new one right away the next day! Their customer service was top-notch and they made sure I was completely satisfied.
Undercounter fridge purchase
I was really looking forward to getting my undercounter fridge from this company, but I have to say, my experience ended up being a letdown. To start with, they changed the delivery date because the item was out of stock, but then they ended up delivering it on the original date anyway. The guys who brought it were nice enough, but then I saw the state of the fridge - scratched and marked, looking like it had already been used. Plus, the back feet were just bare metal plates that could damage my worktop. When I checked inside, I found crumbs under the shelves, even though I hadn't put any food in there yet. And on top of all that, the fridge was so noisy, driving me mad because I'm really sensitive to sound. As a disabled customer who'd been without a fridge for months, this whole thing was a real letdown and really frustrating.
Mystery Cancelled Order
I got this really confusing letter from a company, saying they cancelled my order because of some checks they did. Thing is, I don't remember ordering anything from them. The letter had my name on it, but they got my title completely wrong. I'm pretty baffled by it all. Should I give them a ring on the number in the letter and see what's up, or should I just ignore it?
Account application approval, wide selection, good prices, easy ordering process, speedy delivery
I applied for an account with this company recently and was chuffed to bits when I got approved just 20 minutes later. The website has loads of products to choose from, and the prices are really good compared to other shops. Ordering was dead easy and checking out was a doddle. I was well impressed with how quickly my stuff arrived too. All in all, I had a cracking experience with this company and reckon you should definitely give them a go.

Surround sound system
I've just ordered from this company for the first time, and it was super easy! I treated myself to a fancy surround sound system for my telly. I ordered something and it arrived at my house really quickly, much faster than I thought it would. The delivery guys were really friendly and helpful, they even brought the package right to my door. Payment issue on app
I'm really angry with the Home Essentials app! I paid with my card on their app, but got an error message and was charged twice. This has happened before with Ambrose Wilson and Home Essentials. I won't pay twice and want them to sort this payment issue, which is clearly their fault. When I tried to show proof of the error on their app, I couldn't upload it because of a device error. What next, blame my internet? They should fix their app as it's making customers lose money. I don't care about late fees, I'm not paying twice!
Bed purchase
I ordered a bed from this shop and was really disappointed with the service. They first said it would come in 5 working days, but then they changed it to the 15th of the month. I made sure I was home for the delivery, but the bed never arrived. When I called customer service, they said it would come the next day, but when I reminded them it was already the 15th, they said it would be another 5 working days. It was so frustrating, felt like they were just giving me one excuse after another.
Credit card payment issue
I've had such a bad time with my credit card company lately. I kept asking them to lower my minimum payment, but they just keep taking a big chunk for APR, hardly making a dent in my balance. Being disabled and on benefits, this has really hit me hard financially. And when I tried to complain, they just brushed me off. I really think it's best for others to avoid this provider.
Refund for shoddy goods
I am really disappointed with my experience with this company. I received poor quality products and when I asked for a refund, they are now saying they won't do it. This is not right. It's not professional or ethical. I recommend avoiding this company and their other branches because their products are just not good, and their way of running things is not good either. It's sad to see a company behaving so badly, it's like dealing with dishonest politicians.
New TV purchase
I bought a new TV online not long ago and had a terrible experience with it. The TV arrived with a cracked screen, which was really disappointing. When I reached out to customer services for assistance, I was met with a very rude and unhelpful representative who wouldn't help me at all. The level of customer service was shocking and not okay at all. The Chatbot system was just as useless, as it kept sending me back to the unhelpful customer services line. Dealing with them was a total waste of time.
Kitchen utensil set
I recently bought a kitchen utensil set from this company and it was a total nightmare. They cancelled my order without telling me why, which left me feeling frustrated and confused. Then, two weeks later, the order mysteriously arrived at my door. I wanted to return it because I had already bought the set from another store in the meantime, but they said it was past the 28-day return period and I would have to pay for it. I was really surprised by how bad their customer service and professionalism was. I certainly won't be buying from them again.
Bedding set and curtains
This company is a complete mess, honestly. I ordered a bedding set and curtains, and can you believe it? They turned up all smashed and destroyed, it's like they were attacked by a monster! And to make matters worse, the curtains didn't even show up, like where are they? I had a direct debit set up and they kept sending me letters saying I hadn't paid when I definitely had! So, I got on the phone to the bank and they confirmed that the money had been taken out. But here's the kicker - I can't even log into my account now because they've sent it to some other company for payment! What's going on here, seriously? I've got evidence that I paid and they're just getting everything completely wrong. I am so done with this company, like, see you later, I don't need this stress. I might have to get some legal advice because this is just ridiculous.
Kitchen bread maker
I had a dreadful time with my purchase from this shop. I bought a kitchen bread maker, but when it came, the box was already open and looked like it had been used.
