Undercounter fridge purchase
I was really looking forward to getting my undercounter fridge from this company, but I have to say, my experience ended up being a letdown. To start with, they changed the delivery date because the item was out of stock, but then they ended up delivering it on the original date anyway. The guys who brought it were nice enough, but then I saw the state of the fridge - scratched and marked, looking like it had already been used. Plus, the back feet were just bare metal plates that could damage my worktop. When I checked inside, I found crumbs under the shelves, even though I hadn't put any food in there yet. And on top of all that, the fridge was so noisy, driving me mad because I'm really sensitive to sound. As a disabled customer who'd been without a fridge for months, this whole thing was a real letdown and really frustrating.
Awesome bedding set
The bedding set I bought was absolutely amazing, it had unicorns all over it and it made my room look so magical! However, when it arrived, the package was a bit squashed and the duvet cover had a small tear. I felt a bit disappointed, but I decided to give them a call. To my surprise, they were really nice and understanding. They sent me a new one right away the next day! Their customer service was top-notch and they made sure I was completely satisfied.
Mystery Cancelled Order
I got this really confusing letter from a company, saying they cancelled my order because of some checks they did. Thing is, I don't remember ordering anything from them. The letter had my name on it, but they got my title completely wrong. I'm pretty baffled by it all. Should I give them a ring on the number in the letter and see what's up, or should I just ignore it?
Payment issue on app
I'm really angry with the Home Essentials app! I paid with my card on their app, but got an error message and was charged twice. This has happened before with Ambrose Wilson and Home Essentials. I won't pay twice and want them to sort this payment issue, which is clearly their fault. When I tried to show proof of the error on their app, I couldn't upload it because of a device error. What next, blame my internet? They should fix their app as it's making customers lose money. I don't care about late fees, I'm not paying twice!
Bed purchase
I ordered a bed from this shop and was really disappointed with the service. They first said it would come in 5 working days, but then they changed it to the 15th of the month. I made sure I was home for the delivery, but the bed never arrived. When I called customer service, they said it would come the next day, but when I reminded them it was already the 15th, they said it would be another 5 working days. It was so frustrating, felt like they were just giving me one excuse after another.
Credit card payment issue
I've had such a bad time with my credit card company lately. I kept asking them to lower my minimum payment, but they just keep taking a big chunk for APR, hardly making a dent in my balance. Being disabled and on benefits, this has really hit me hard financially. And when I tried to complain, they just brushed me off. I really think it's best for others to avoid this provider.
Refund for shoddy goods
I am really disappointed with my experience with this company. I received poor quality products and when I asked for a refund, they are now saying they won't do it. This is not right. It's not professional or ethical. I recommend avoiding this company and their other branches because their products are just not good, and their way of running things is not good either. It's sad to see a company behaving so badly, it's like dealing with dishonest politicians.
New TV purchase
I bought a new TV online not long ago and had a terrible experience with it. The TV arrived with a cracked screen, which was really disappointing. When I reached out to customer services for assistance, I was met with a very rude and unhelpful representative who wouldn't help me at all. The level of customer service was shocking and not okay at all. The Chatbot system was just as useless, as it kept sending me back to the unhelpful customer services line. Dealing with them was a total waste of time.
Order delivery
I ordered something and it arrived at my house really quickly, much faster than I thought it would. The delivery guys were really friendly and helpful, they even brought the package right to my door. I would definitely recommend this company, they were fantastic! Thanks a lot for doing such a brilliant job.
Surround sound system
I've just ordered from this company for the first time, and it was super easy! I treated myself to a fancy surround sound system for my telly. It got sent out really quickly with tracking, and turned up in just 2 days. I'm really happy with the service, and I'll definitely be returning for more goodies in the future!

This company is a complete mess, honestly. I ordered a bedding set and curtains, and can you believe it? They turned up all smashed and destroyed, it's like they were attacked by a monster! And to make matters worse, the curtains didn't even show up, like where are they? I had a direct debit set up and they kept sending me letters saying I hadn't paid when I definitely had! So, I got on the phone to the bank and they confirmed that the money had been taken out. Kitchen bread maker
I had a dreadful time with my purchase from this shop. I bought a kitchen bread maker, but when it came, the box was already open and looked like it had been used. Keep an eye on your credit score, or you'll end up stuck in never-ending debt. It's probably best to avoid this group altogether and do your homework before getting involved. Good luck trying to sort out your account and close it - it's like talking to a brick wall!

Desk lamp purchase
The desk lamp I bought came in good condition, but it arrived later than expected. They did email me saying sorry for the delay and promised to refund the extra charge for next day delivery. However, I never got the refund even after sending two more emails. It looks like they only care about getting your money and not about fixing any problems with your order. I suggest being careful when ordering from them because their customer service doesn't seem to follow up on things.

Ordered knives for xmas
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I ordered some knives before Christmas and I still haven't received them yet! I've been keeping an eye out for any updates from FedEx, but so far, no luck. They say they attempted to deliver, but there's no card left and no sign of their van on the CCTV footage. I've tried reaching out to Home Essentials via email multiple times, but haven't heard anything back from them. Is this really how they operate? I must say, I'm feeling quite let down by the whole situation.
Bedding order
I recently ordered a large amount of bedding from this company, looking forward to everything arriving on a certain day. When the delivery turned up, only one item from the whole order was there. I got in touch with customer service, but they were totally clueless about the missing items. They even suggested charging me for the one item that did arrive! Fed up with their incompetence, I asked for a refund for that one item and for the whole mess-up with my order. Dealing with such ineptitude was a total waste of my time. This was definitely the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and because of this, I won't be ordering from this company again.
