Cycling accessories
I recently bought some cycling accessories, and for the most part, I was happy with them. The items were well wrapped up when they arrived, so they were in good condition. However, they took a bit longer to get to me than I had hoped, about 12 days instead of the expected time. I know there was a Bank Holiday in between, but it would have been nice to get an update on where my order was. I had to send a follow-up email before finally getting my parcel a couple of days later.
Cycling equipment
I was really impressed with the customer service team at Ribble Cycles. They were super knowledgeable and helpful, showing a genuine understanding of the products and what a cyclist like me needs. I liked how they took my age and experience into account when suggesting products, it made me feel more confident in my choices. Overall, the customer service was top-notch and made my shopping experience really positive.
Bike purchase for commuting
I had to get in touch with the staff a few times through chat because there were delays in approving my bike to work scheme, which meant I didn't get the bike I wanted. But every time I contacted them, the staff were really helpful and understanding, giving me the info and help I needed. Also, I had to speak to customer service about another question, and I was happy with how they dealt with my concerns and sorted everything out for me.
Bike purchase
I had a great time at the shop in Clitheroe - it was so chill and stress-free. I really liked how they didn't pressure me into buying anything, and Jonathan, the guy helping me, was super helpful and really knew his stuff. Although I couldn't try out the bike I wanted because of size issues, I trusted Jonathan's advice and went ahead with the purchase. I can't wait to get my new bike and start cycling!
Bike order
The absence of communication from Ribble Cycles was really annoying. I was told I'd get my bike in 7-10 days, but it took a massive 10 weeks to arrive. I had to keep chasing them for updates, and even then, they couldn't give me a clear idea of when it would come. They didn't take any initiative to keep me informed, which left me feeling very unhappy. Let's hope the bike itself is worth the wait after this disappointing experience.
Requested Jan sales price after event for cycle to work scheme
I got in touch with Ribble Cycles to see if they would still give me the January sales price even though it was after the event because of the cycle to work scheme. It took them a couple of months to sort out the paperwork, but they still gave me the discount. I really appreciate it.
Decals for new paint job
I bought some decals for my new paint job and needed help with putting them on. The customer service team at Ribble was really helpful and treated my questions seriously, as if I was buying another bike. They made sure I was happy with my purchase, going the extra mile. I'm really pleased with the service I got.
Ribble CGR AL-e purchase
I recently bought a Ribble CGR AL-e from the store and I must say, I had a really great experience with Kyle's customer service. He was so knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way, from ordering to collection. His expertise really made a difference to my experience with the store. Now, I'm really excited to start using my new bike and make the most of it.
Touch up paint purchase
I was really happy with the service I got for a small purchase. Even though I was just buying touch up paint, the staff were really efficient and professional. It's not often you find companies that treat every customer well, no matter how small their purchase is, and I really liked that about this company. Ordering was easy and the delivery was quick. I was really impressed with the service I got for such a small purchase.
My new bike accessories
The customer service team were so fast at answering my questions and gave me really clear directions on how to find what I needed. They were so friendly and there were absolutely no issues, just solutions. They really knew what they were talking about and made the whole experience amazing!

This was my first time buying from this company and I must say, I was really impressed. The customer service was top-notch. Bike accessories
I recently bought some bike accessories from Ribble Cycles and had a good experience overall. The quality of the products was top-notch, and I was happy with what I got. However, I did have a problem with the pricing at checkout. I was told one price initially, but when I was charged, extra costs for tax and shipping were added on. This mix-up was annoying, and it took a few tries to get hold of someone who could sort it out. Luckily, Matt from Customer Service was really helpful and made sure the original price I was given was honoured. He handled the situation professionally and quickly, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Despite the initial issue, I was pleased with the outcome and would definitely think about shopping at Ribble Cycles again in the future.
Road bike with 105 groupset
I bought a road bike from Ribble Cycles which had a 105 groupset. At first, I had some issues with the delivery - it was delayed, and the bike arrived with a scratch and a seatpost that was longer than expected. However, when I got in touch with Ribble about it, they quickly got back to me, said sorry for the hassle, and offered to send me paint for the scratch and a goodwill gesture. They also agreed to refund me for the seatpost shortening if I provide them with an invoice. Despite these bumps in the road, I have to say I'm happy with how Ribble dealt with everything, and their customer service was top-notch.
France touring bike
The bike shop was really cool with lots of different bikes. This guy Will was a total biking expert, he helped me choose the best bike for me and made sure it was the right size. We even chatted about cycling up Mount Ventoux and shared our pictures. It was a fantastic experience overall!
Electronic group set bike purchase
I was really excited about getting my new bike with the electronic group set, but it's such a letdown that it came without any instructions. How am I meant to work out the best way to use it without any help? It's like getting a puzzle without a picture to guide you - really frustrating and pointless. I get that not everyone needs instructions, but for someone like me who's new to electronic shifters, having a manual would have been so handy.
High-end road bike
I bought a top-of-the-range road bike from Ribble Cycles recently, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the frame quality. However, the parts that came with the bike were not up to scratch and didn't last long at all. I had to replace the wheels, bottom bracket, and thru axle pretty quickly because they were just not durable. I was let down by the company's lack of accountability and the fact that their products were often unavailable. It was frustrating that their phone lines closed at 1pm and they were frequently out of stock. Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying from them again.
Customized road bike
I'm an experienced cyclist and recently I decided to treat myself to a custom road bike from Ribble Cycles. Ordering through their website was pretty straightforward, but there were a few areas that I think could be improved. The equipment they offered was decent for the price, but I felt a bit restricted when it came to selecting the size and fit options for the bike. It seemed like once I chose my size, I couldn't adjust things like handlebar width and stem length, so they ended up being the same for both the smallest and largest sizes. Personally, I think important things like crank length, handlebar width, and stem length should be customisable to suit the individual. Another downside for me was the lack of detailed information on the checkout and invoice, like details on tyre type, headset type, fork type and axle.
Bike purchase through C2W scheme
The delivery time for my bike was shocking. I got an email saying it would be sent on 31st May, but then I didn't hear anything else. I had to call customer service and they told me it wouldn't arrive until 1st July, without giving any reason why. Waiting 2-3 months for a regular bike is just not on. It was a really disappointing experience all round.
New bike
The staff at the shop were really helpful when I was buying my bike. But I would have much rather talked to someone face-to-face instead of using the online chat for help. The bike arrived quickly and is really good quality. The only problem was I found out the inner tube got pinched when they were putting on the tyre, so I had to fix a puncture straight away. Apart from that, everything was brilliant.
