- Practical but fiddly- I first saw this at a mate’s and bought one after a quick demo. It’s a decent cooker but not perfect. The rotisserie handled about a 1.5kg bird, so I’d stick to the 1.3kg recommendation. The drip tray is too shallow and fiddly to remove — the bottom elements sit close so you end up wrestling it and making a bit of a mess. The manual is minimal and doesn’t say to use the Roast setting for the rotisserie, which was odd, though the chicken did come out surprisingly crisp. I’ve warned my sister about the tray.
- A relief, finally- it’s now doing its job in daily life (recycling and toddler messes) and I can stop worrying.
- Sorted in the end- Midway through unwrapping the new air fryer I remembered the recall email and felt a proper groan — but it didn’t spiral. I rang up, they sent a voucher via a specific link, yes it was a bit fiddly to use and at first stock looked thin, but the customer service team stuck with me. A manager actually rang back, sorted a replacement and arranged delivery that arrived when they said it would. First time using it was the weekend, chips and veg — impressively easy and I was quietly pleased. Not perfect, there were small delays and the voucher route was odd, but overall I’m grateful they handled it and got things moving. I’d use them again, given how the delivery and support turned out. Really glad it all worked out.
- Loved it, then the handle melted- I first saw this Tower Dual-basket airfryer at my sister’s place and she raved, so when my partner bought it for me at Christmas I was chuffed. For months it worked great, then one day the left basket handle went floppy. On closer look the plastic where it clips on had melted — yes melted, bit scary. I sent photos to Tower, explained it was a gift so I don’t have the receipt, and they've been asking for proof of purchase ever since. I’ve even spoken to Citizens Advice and sent a complaints letter citing the Consumer Rights Act, but customer service keep circling back to 'receipt please'. Delivery was fine, ordering not a hassle, but the way they're handling the fault is poor and worrying. I just want a safe fix — refund or a proper replacement.
- Finally sorted, but not smooth- correct colour, no damage, and packaged properly. It felt like a proper sigh of relief. I’m grateful they did sort it in the end, even if the process was slow and could’ve been handled better from the start. I’d buy from them again but I’ll check the delivery details and contact options first — wouldn’t repeat the same faff.
- 4.2 ltr airfryer- Air fryer recalled after couple of years. They offered a replacement which may not be of the same size size. Alternatively they offer a £60 voucher which can only redeemed on their website.
The problem is, ive been looking for several weeks now and they have next nothing in stock and certainly no airfryers around 4ltrs. I asked if i could use the voucher at a retailer such as currys, but no, the voucher cannot be used on their website.
So theyre effectively getting away with not having to fulfill their obligation to replace a badly designed and dangerous product.
Next step if i dont get a replacement soon is to go to watchdog tv programme.
- Dual air fryer purchase- I've just bought a dual air fryer from Tower Housewares and on the whole, I was happy with it. However, I had a problem with the rubber corners on the tray as I accidentally lost one. When I got in touch with Tower Housewares' customer service team, they told me they didn't have any replacement rubber in stock and suggested using silicone paper or foil instead. I was a bit disappointed with their response because I thought a big company like theirs would have spare parts on hand for situations like this. Nevertheless, the air fryer itself works well and I'm happy with how it performs.
- Airfryer replacement- My airfryer broke down on me after just over a year. It was really annoying, but the customer service team at Tower were so helpful. Even though it was out of warranty, they replaced my faulty airfryer without any issues. It's not often you come across a company that provides such great service, so I have to give them credit for their outstanding support. Tower Housewares has definitely won me over as a customer for life.
- Air Fryer Mesh Shelves- I bought my mum a Tower air fryer and she's really chuffed with it. The only issue was she struggled to take out the mesh shelves when they were hot because they didn't have any handles. She's 80 years old and has trouble with her grip, so I was worried about her safety. Thankfully, I got in touch with the company and they quickly sent over some silicone hand mitts to help out. Their customer service was top-notch and it was a real lifesaver. Big shoutout to Corina in customer services for all her help.
- Faulty appliance replacement- I got in touch with customer service recently about a broken appliance that was still under warranty. After giving them all the details they needed, they quickly sent me a new one as a replacement. I want to say thanks to Joe for getting back to me so quickly and sorting out the problem efficiently. Based on my experience, I can definitely say that the company offers top-notch customer service that you can rely on.
- Replacement Appliance- Nic from customer support was really helpful in sorting out the issue I had recently. I'm grateful for their help and really pleased with how my order turned out.
- Air fryer purchase- I recently bought an air fryer from Tower Housewares and I must say, I've been really impressed with how well it works. The various settings made it super easy for me to cook a wide range of dishes, all turning out perfectly cooked and delicious each time. I've only ever used Tower Housewares products and although I had a little hiccup with my appliance, the customer service chap, Joe, was brilliant and quickly sorted everything out for me. I'm really happy with how everything was handled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tower Housewares for anyone looking to make a purchase in the future.
- Warranty claim for a kettle- I had to speak to customer service about a warranty claim for a kettle I bought, and I have to say that Jaheda was brilliant. She was super helpful, really knew her stuff, and was so polite the whole time. Thanks to her, I got my dodgy kettle swapped for a shiny new one. I really value her commitment to giving top-notch customer service.
- Replacement milk frother- Our milk frother packed up during the warranty period, so we got in touch with customer service for some help. Nic and Amy were really friendly and worked out that we needed a replacement frother. They didn't have the exact same model in stock, but let us pick a similar one from their website. The one we chose was a bit more expensive, but they kindly said we didn't have to pay the difference. That's what I call top-notch customer service!
- Replacement stand mixer- I recently bought a stand mixer but it wasn't functioning as it should be so I decided to reach out to customer service for some help. There was this lady named Sophie who assisted me throughout the process and managed to resolve the issue. It did take quite a bit of time, about 6 to 7 months, but eventually, they sent me a replacement mixer. And you know what? It works perfectly fine now! I just wanted to give a massive shoutout to Sophie for being incredibly awesome and helpful throughout this whole experience! 🥰
- Customer service experience- I had a brilliant time with the customer service here. Ezmie was an absolute star in assisting me with my request. She was so lovely, so good at her job, and really quick too. It's not often you find such amazing help nowadays, so I truly appreciate Ezmie's support. Thank you for brightening up my day with your excellent service!
- Vacuum cleaner purchase- I recently bought a vacuum cleaner from Tower Housewares, and unfortunately, after using it for a while, I noticed it was making scraping sounds on my floor. Luckily, I remembered that it was still under warranty as stated on the box. I sent an email to the company and spoke to a customer service rep called Elle. Elle was really helpful and went out of her way to help me. She reassured me that a replacement part would be sent soon, which was a relief. I've had bad experiences with other companies before, but Tower Housewares has shown to be reliable and helpful. I'll definitely be shopping with them again in the future.
- Replacement bin purchase- I had to buy a new bin from Tower Housewares recently, and I have to say, the customer service I got was top-notch. Martin and Ezmie were so helpful and really went out of their way to get me a replacement bin quickly when my old one stopped working. I was seriously impressed by their dedication and how quickly they sorted everything out for me. I'm really thankful for their help in fixing the problem in no time. I'd definitely recommend Tower Housewares for their amazing customer service.
- Cordless window cleaner charging lead- I've just moved house and somehow managed to lose the charger for my cordless window cleaner. I got in touch with Tower Housewares and had a chat with Amy, who was so helpful and managed to find a replacement for me. Now I'm eagerly waiting for it to arrive so I can carry on using my window cleaner without any issues. Amy really went above and beyond with her customer service, so she definitely deserves a 5-star rating.
- Replacement of damaged item- I had an amazing experience with this company. Sophie got back to me really quickly and was super helpful with sorting out our damaged item. She replaced it right away, showing fantastic customer service. I can't wait to give the product a go when I have the chance, but I'm sure it'll be top-notch based on the service I got. I'll definitely be coming back as a customer in the future.
About Tower Housewares
Homeware products should be durable as well as well designed. The durability is important since these products will be in regular use for a number of years before replacement. The design should also offer an aesthetic value to space it is being used. The types of homeware products that have graced human houses evolved alongside human civilizations and advancements in technology. Once upon a time, cutlery was made from wood, and at some point, only the rich had metal cutlery. As time evolved, other appliances and kitchen gadgets were created to improve and enhance cooking as an activity which is central to human existence, socialization and continued survival. Today, several products have been developed for all manner of cooking and home care activities, from air fryers (which are touted to be better for the health as they utilize only the oil extracted from any food to do the frying) to smart coffee makers, robotic vacuum cleaners and other such innovations. Indeed, the era of exerting a lot of manual labour to keep a home clean, well-fed or safe seems to be gradually giving way to man being taken care of by artificial intelligence and robots. However, if you are into some traditional, homecooked meals which is the heart of any family gathering, you need products that can survive heat, being handled roughly, repeated use, and in some cases, being passed down generations as grandma’s secret tool for amazing soups or foods. Tower Housewares is a company that claims to have been offering a variety of products for home care for over a century. My ex-boyfriend was one who liked eating from restaurant daily. I can't really say what was responsible for that but I suspected either work stress or just laziness. So one day ... Read onBy: Claire
