Great website and easy booking experience
This is the worst holiday booking experience in my life. Trying to change the holiday, they just simply replied to my email saying no, and there is nothing they can do to help any more. This is the kind of service you will get.
mail holiday promotion
DO NOT BOOK YOU WILL GET EXTRA CHARGES AFTER BOOKING AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR ORDER WITHOUT LOSING THE MONEY PAID. I booked a holiday through the mail holiday park promotion through the mail paper. No mention of extra money to be paid was mention when booking the holiday online. I paid £57 for a long weekend. When I got the confirmation from Breakfree holidays it informed me I had to pay an extra £25.50 and when I received the confirmation from the holiday park, it said I had to pay an extra £51 for services within 7 days or my holiday would be cancelled. I phoned them up and they said I could cancel the holiday no problem all I had to do with e-mail them. After I e-mailed the company to cancel the holiday, I requested a refund, they said they don't issue the refund I would have to get in touch with the sun group for a refund as they have my money. I then called customer services at Breakfree holidays at 16:02 on 13/02/2020 to request a refund and she said they don't issue a refund as they have a no refund or amendment policy. I said what about the 14 days cooling off period, she said it wasn't applicable. I informed her that I had only become aware of the extra money I would have to pay when I received the confirmation. I said but this goes against my consumer rights. She said that they had a no amendment or refund policy once the confirmation had been received which was directly after i booked my holiday and because of this I had lost the £57. I then rang citizens advice bureau and they advised me this information was incorrect if your holiday has been significantly changed after booking your holiday they are in breach of contract and its the companies responsibility to either issue a refund or amend the holiday. I am now having to legally fight for my money back as customer services were awful
Worse customer service EVER!
They make a mistake and change the dates I booked, then hide behind their terms and conditions to refuse to correct my date. Instead of a holiday for 2 adults and 2 kids during the school holidays, I'm stuck with a holiday during term time for 1 adult and 3 kids which they refuse to take responsibility for and amend.
This company has no problems taking my money but when they make mistakes their morale principles are right out the window. Will never use their website again and most certainly would not recommend them to my worst enemy either.
Prices not as advertised and shocking customer service
Due to a "technical issue" on their website, Breakfree advertised the holiday I booked £120 less than it should have been. I was advised I would have to pay the new price and there was no offer of discount to compensate for their mistake. I was advised to submit a complaint by email but Breakfree have not responded (9 days later). I even sent 2 follow up emails to chase it. I now have no choice but to cancel this family holiday. This was booked as part of a promotion, of which there are no affordable alternatives for another holiday on the same dates. Horrible experience, no holiday and a lot of disappointment. Thanks Breakfree.
Great and suitable for alone travellers
After my graduation, I planned a traveling plan alone. for a very long time and after a long planning, i finally decided that yes I will do it! but the first thing I needed was an agency which can be trustworthy and help me when i really needed it. I must say Breakfree Holidays really make my holiday damn amazing and easy. trust me, it's not easy to being an alone travel and arranging all stuff at your own especially when you have no idea about all the things.
My parents were worried about ho wi will manage the trip but break free holiday s did everything, even they planned tours and camping for me which was amazing and best tours in my life. I also bought insurance for them for keeping my stuff safe and me too. so i will recommend those who are going for the first time, trust me this agency will truly help you.
