Stay at a hotel
My time at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was not only spacious but also really clean, and it had a special charm to it that I loved. The amenities they offered were top-notch and made my stay incredibly comfortable. The food and drinks served in the hotel's restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the luxurious furnishings added a lovely touch of elegance. The staff members were all so friendly and really made sure that I had a wonderful experience. I especially want to mention Holly, a waitress at the hotel, who was so professional and made my dining experience even more enjoyable. The level of service from the staff was exceptional, and I was really impressed by their attention to detail and their welcoming attitude.
Birthday treat, Spa, Full Body Ritual, Afternoon Tea
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a birthday treat at a spa in Newcastle. The Full Body Ritual was absolutely amazing, and the staff were really professional and lovely. I felt so rejuvenated and pampered after the treatment. The next day, I went back for an Afternoon Tea, and I have to say, I've been to a few tea sessions in my time, but this one really exceeded all expectations. The food was scrumptious, and what really impressed me was how flexible the menu was. If there was something you didn't fancy, the staff were more than happy to swap it for something else. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for a luxurious and enjoyable experience.
Booking at a luxury hotel
As someone who travels a lot, I recently stayed at this really nice hotel in a great location. When I got there, the staff were so friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfy and enjoyable stay. The room was lovely, with amazing views and all the things you could want. The hotel went above and beyond my expectations, and I was really impressed by how well the staff looked after me. I didn't have to go anywhere else for anything, as everything I wanted was right there. The food was amazing and the whole experience was just fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a really great hotel experience.
Overnight stay at Malmaison
My partner and I recently stayed overnight at Malmaison and it was absolutely fantastic. Right from the beginning, the staff were so attentive and friendly. Our room was really clean and stylish, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The best part was definitely the food and drinks. The cocktails from Taylor were amazing and our waitress Rebecca gave us great service all through our meal. Cat and Ivan even went out of their way to make sure our dietary needs were met during breakfast, which we really appreciated. Overall, the customer service at Malmaison is top-notch and I can't find a single fault with our experience.
Hotel stay
I've been coming to this hotel for over twenty years now, but my most recent stay has really let me down. They've recently done up the place, but the rooms now feel like they're missing something. The mirrors are in odd spots with bad lighting, making it hard to get ready. The room is so dark with those ceiling lights that it feels like a cave in there. The showers have such weak water pressure that it takes forever to get wet. And don't even get me started on the tiny towel rails - it's like a game trying to hang a hand towel on there! There are more lights at the reception desk than in the actual room, which makes getting ready a nightmare. When I raised my concerns with the staff, they just gave me the usual response of "I'll let someone know," without any real action. This experience has really made me think twice about staying loyal to this hotel in the future.
Experience at a party
I went to this event at the venue the other day and honestly, I was a bit disappointed with how things turned out. It was freezing cold inside, which made me think they haven't been keeping up with the heating. The bar area was so packed, it was a nightmare trying to get a drink without waiting forever in line. And the bar itself was too tiny for the amount of people there, so I had to buy a few drinks in one go just to avoid waiting around. No one was clearing away the empty glasses and bottles either, which added to the chaos. On top of that, the prices kept changing each time I ordered the same drink, which was really confusing. And get this – they were serving 2/3 pints but charging for full pints, how cheeky is that?
Stayed at a fancy hotel
I stayed at this really fancy hotel and it was amazing! The staff there were all incredibly kind and welcoming. There was a lady named Tessie who made sure I had a lovely breakfast, even though my wife was unwell. She even helped me bring some food up to our room for her. It was a really thoughtful gesture and made me feel valued. In general, I had a fantastic time and would definitely stay there again!
Stay at a hotel
I love coming to this hotel regularly, the service I get each time I stay here is top-notch. The staff really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect from the moment I check-in to when I check-out. The little things they do and the whole experience really make this hotel special compared to others I've been to. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed at in the UK.
Weekend stay with my son
I stayed at a hotel recently with my son for the weekend, and I have to say, it was absolutely brilliant. The staff, especially Amanda Brack, were amazing and really went out of their way to help us. The hotel was in a great location, the rooms were cosy, and the bar had a really nice vibe. I'll definitely be coming back for another stay at some point.
Hotel stay
I recently stayed at a hotel and found it to be nice and clean. The baths were quite high and I almost fell out of them. It was disappointing that there was no toilet brush provided. However, the shower gels smelled really great. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The room service food was cold, but it did arrive quickly.
Hotel stay at a marina location
During my recent stay at the hotel near the marina, I thought the place was clean enough. The check-in was quick and the room was in good condition. However, I was really let down by the room's design. It felt like a teenage boy who loves video games had decorated it. The room was small, dark, and had graffiti-like murals on the walls. The big black furniture made it hard to move around, and the overall black theme made it feel oppressive. Plus, there was a random bright yellow rocking chair that just didn't fit in and took up too much space, making it even more uncomfortable. I won't be staying there again as it wasn't the bright, open, and relaxing place I was hoping for.
Stay at a hotel near shopping district
I recently stayed at a hotel close to the shopping area, just a short 5-minute stroll from the nearest Marks and Spencer. The hotel was really clean and had a lovely bar and restaurant. The staff, particularly Sheryl, were amazing and provided top-notch service.
Friday Lunch with excellent service
I had such a great time at Malmaison for a chilled out Friday lunch. Tessie, who looked after us, was absolutely fantastic and really made the whole experience special. The hotel has some great offers on food and drinks too, which is always a plus. I'll definitely be coming back to Malmaison for another lovely visit.
Restaurant meal
My experience at Malmaison for a restaurant week deal was not great at all. Firstly, they couldn't find our booking or understand the promotion, then they started blaming each other for the mistake. We were seated outside on a balcony that was freezing cold and dark. Being a vegetarian, I was shocked to find meat in both dishes when our food arrived. I had thought it was a meat substitute, but it turned out to be pork. The waiter blamed the kitchen for mixing up our plates. On top of that, we struggled to read the menu due to the darkness. Despite advertising a 2-course meal, they charged extra for dessert. As an apology for not providing a vegetarian option, they gave us dessert wine. I reached out to them via email about my experience, but I haven't received a response. To sum up, if you're a vegetarian or have allergies, be cautious. I won't be returning and I wouldn't suggest it to my friends. It felt like we were treated as second-class customers.
Sunday Lunch
I went for Sunday Lunch at this place not too long ago, and it was a complete disaster. I was so surprised to see that they had swapped their roast chicken for roast chicken breast, which honestly tasted like cardboard covered in a rainforest. The portion was tiny and the quality was really not up to scratch. I left feeling really let down and unsatisfied. I mean, Sunday lunch is supposed to be a nice, filling meal, not just a sad salad.
Bad customer service
I got in touch with the team at the start of September about a problem I had, but they never got back to me. I even followed up a few times, but they didn't even acknowledge me! I definitely won't be using their services again.
Stay at new hotel
I stayed at a new hotel in Manchester recently and I have to say, it wasn't a great experience. The room was too dark, I could hardly see anything, and the hotel didn't live up to its fancy reputation. The meal I had was just okay, nothing special - plain and tasteless. The cocktail bar, Sora, was supposed to have great views of Manchester, but all I could see was construction work. In general, I felt like the hotel was a bit of a letdown compared to other places in the area, especially for the high prices they charge.
Stay at a trendy hotel in Edinburgh
I had a really disappointing experience at a hotel in Edinburgh. The room was just average and so dark, they didn't even provide any complimentary water. The TV was very basic and overall the hotel felt like it had seen better days. The guest area was tiny and not very relaxing, and the layout of the hotel felt really confusing, like a maze. It definitely didn't meet my expectations for a four-star hotel.

Last night, my sister and I went to this place and it was absolutely amazing! The service from Daniel and Connor was top-notch, we felt like royalty. Connor made us the most incredible cocktails and the singer Calum was fantastic, his music was really easy to listen to. Thank you all for such a wonderful time!
