    Booking a vehicle was a nightmare after my car broke down. I had to make loads of calls and go through a lot of hassle before things were sorted out. But when I spoke to Hellen, everything turned around. She was fantastic and helped me find a car that was just right for me. She even sorted out a taxi to take me to the car and explained how the fuel cards work. In just a quick 10-minute chat, she got rid of all my worries and made everything so much simpler. I would definitely recommend Hellen for her amazing service.

    Customer service excellence

    I had a brilliant experience with the customer service at both the Crewe and Luton locations. The teams there really went the extra mile to help me with any problems I had, like a scratched car. They put in a lot of effort to make sure it didn't affect my experience too much. Not only did they sort out the issue quickly, but they also assisted me with my luggage and even opened doors for me. Their service was so good, it surpassed what I expected, and I can't recommend them enough.

    Easy and hassle-free car rentals

    Renting a car from this car club is so easy, it's the best way to just get going without any stress. Me and my partner have rented from them a few times and only had a small problem once. But their customer service team sorted it out super quickly. The helpline really saved us and all the cars we've driven were in top condition. Just make sure you follow the damage report rules to avoid any surprise charges later on. Taking photos with timestamps is really important!

    Car hire, fabulous service

    I decided to try out a new car rental place and it was really disappointing. Luckily, my friends recommended this place and I'm so glad they did! I managed to book a car and pick it up on the same day in Bolton, even though it was really busy. The best part was that there was no booking fee, which was fantastic. The salesperson, Tom, was great and even upgraded our family to a larger car. The service was amazing! I will definitely be returning here in the future.

    Faulty vehicle experience

    I had a really bad experience with a car hire company recently, and it left me feeling frustrated and like I'd been taken advantage of. I rented a van from their Brentford/Boston Manor spot, and it was a bit of a nightmare from the start. The van wasn't in great shape - there was rubbish and food left from the last person who used it, and it wasn't even ready for me when I got there to pick it up. Despite these warning signs, I didn't bother getting extra cover because I thought I'd be fine if anything went wrong - but I was wrong.

    On the 28th of April, one of the tyres blew out while I was driving on the motorway, and I had to get help from roadside assistance. When I took the van back the next day, I was shocked to see a £2000 charge on my bank card for the excess. I complained, but I haven't heard anything back from the company, and now I'm out of pocket and really unhappy with their service.

    All of this could have been avoided if they'd checked the van properly before renting it out, and fixed the issue with the bumper clips that caused the problem. It's really frustrating that they're not taking responsibility for their mistakes, and I'm going to take further steps to sort this out.

    Car club experience

    The car club service is just terrible. I mean, seriously, the cars are never where you'd expect them to be, and they always seem to have battery troubles. It's so annoying having to fork out money for a service that can't even make sure you've got a functioning car when you really need one. And don't even get me started on the helpline - they're completely useless. It's not worth the bother trying to fix things with them. Do yourself a favour and find a more dependable option instead.

    Car sharing service

    The car-sharing service offered by this company is handy and efficient, but it's not always ideal when the cars we fancy hiring are 15 miles away. Nevertheless, I've got to mention one of their amazing staff members, Elena. I had a chat with her on the phone to make some changes to my account, and I have to admit, it was one of the nicest customer service interactions I've had all year. Elena was really helpful, polite, and a total star!

    Frequent user of the service

    I've been using this service quite a bit and overall, it's been okay. The customer service team is usually helpful, but I recently had a bit of a problem when one of my bookings got cancelled out of the blue without me knowing. It was a real pain because I turned up to get the car and my booking had just disappeared. I've tried getting in touch several times to sort it out, but haven't heard anything back even after over 10 weeks.

    I had an issue with my membership over the weekend that stopped me from making reservations. Anthony from the Help Desk was absolutely brilliant and went above and beyond to help me find a solution. It's rare to come across someone so dedicated, especially on a weekend. It's been ages since I've felt this valued as a customer, and I'm really proud to be a part of this service.

    Extending vehicle, late return, customer service issue

    I had a really annoying experience with the car club recently. I tried to extend my vehicle booking by a few minutes but couldn't do it on the app, so I called customer service to let them know I'd be returning the car late, maybe by up to 10 minutes. I specifically asked if there would be any extra charges for this and was assured there wouldn't be. They mentioned something about a "grace period." So, I was quite surprised when I got hit with a £25 late fee that I hadn't been told about beforehand. It's not the first time I've had issues with unexpected charges from them, and it's really getting on my nerves.

    My recent car rental experience

    I hired a car from this company not long ago and it was honestly quite disappointing. The car was alright, but the problem came when I went to return it. I was surprised to discover I'd been charged for a 'scratch' on one of the tyres, four days after I'd handed the car back. I hadn't been told about this charge until I saw it on my bank statement, and I thought that was really unprofessional and let down. If only I'd looked into this company more before I went with them for my car rental.

    Unexpected insurance charges

    The car was alright, but the extra insurance cost was shocking! I thought the price for a 4-day rental was reasonable, but then they sprung a £1500 excess insurance charge on me. They also tried to sell me a policy waiver for almost as much as the rental itself. What a rip-off! I had to drive 1000 miles feeling extremely nervous. Never going through that again, mate.

    Renting car for the first time

    Oh my goodness, I was really excited to pick up a nice rental car, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. To start with, trying to locate the car was like searching for a needle in a haystack as the previous user had not parked it in the correct spot. And when I eventually got in, it was, well, quite disgusting! The floor mat was like a muddy mess, gross! On top of that, the cost was way too high for just 5 hours and 100 miles of driving. Absolutely not, I think I'll stick to renting cars on a daily basis from now on.

    Unauthorized membership fees

    I can't believe this company is still charging me membership fees each year even though I haven't had a driving license for two years now. When I finally plucked up the courage to call and request a refund, it was a total nightmare. The person I spoke to was so rude and not helpful at all. The call kept cutting out, and I could barely understand her because of her strong accent. I asked her to let me speak and take turns in the conversation, but she ignored me completely and just kept talking over me. It was a complete disgrace.

    I've been using this service for ages and I really enjoyed it until I got hit with an £80 parking fine for returning the car to its spot because the space was blocked. I reached out to customer service for help, but unfortunately, they couldn't assist me. I even sent photos to prove that I wasn't lying about the road closure. It just doesn't feel right! I'm considering cancelling my membership now.

    Van booking fail

    I arranged to hire a van on a Monday but when I arrived, it was completely dead and they couldn't even get it unlocked! They didn't have a backup option and just left me stranded without a van. They couldn't even suggest another one nearby! It would have been helpful if they had staff on hand for bank holidays to deal with issues like this. I won't be relying on them again in the future, that's for certain!

    So, I signed up for this car club and it was a complete disaster. They attempted to charge me twice for some made-up damage in just one week. I mean, seriously, could they be any more obvious? The photos they provided of the supposed damage were a joke. It was just a tiny mark on the tyre, probably from normal wear and tear, and they were making a big deal out of it. I even got it checked by a mechanic, and they confirmed it was nothing to be concerned about. Also, they claimed no one else had used the car between my bookings, but I know for a fact that's a blatant lie because I used the same car again during that time. It's like they're not even trying to hide their shady practices. And then they had the audacity to say I didn't notice the small mark on the tyre during my pre-drive inspection. Come off it, I'm not blind! I've decided I'm never going to use this car club again, it's just too much hassle.

    First car club experience

    I was really looking forward to giving this car club thing a go, as I don't need a car all the time. But you know what? The first time I tried to use it, the car I'd booked just wouldn't start! I mean, seriously? It was so frustrating! And what's worse is they didn't have another car for me to use. I understand that cars can break down, but come on, you should have a backup plan, right? I ended up spending ages on the phone sorting it out, and then they hit me with a cancellation fee. Not cool at all. And to make matters worse, they're not even responding to my emails or refund requests. I'm really not happy about it.
