Flaking purse gift
I received a purse as a gift, but after only two months of using it, the material started flaking and the back compartment completely ripped off. I got in touch with customer service to sort it out, but they weren't very helpful. They said they couldn't replace it because I didn't have the receipt (which I couldn't have since it was a gift). I was really disappointed by their lack of responsibility and poor customer service. The product wasn't great quality either, and my whole experience with the brand has been a letdown. It's a shame to see such a drop in both the product standard and customer care from a company I used to trust.
Fleece purchase
I bought a fleece from this shop not long ago, but I have to say I'm really let down with the service. They told me my fleece would arrive on a certain day, then changed their mind and said it would take "a few days" instead. I think when you're paying extra for fast shipping, you should get your stuff when they say you will. It's made me feel pretty annoyed to be honest, and I don't think the company is being very responsible about it.
Fancy t-shirt turned into bobbly mess
I got this really nice t-shirt, thinking it would be top quality and last a long time. But after a few washes, it's gone all bobbly and faded. What's the use in paying extra if it's just gonna look cheap? I've picked up other things from this store like their bed sheets, which are excellent quality and look fantastic, and my fav, this awesome bag. But I won't be getting any more clothes from here.
T-shirt purchase
I bought this really cute T-shirt from Joules, but then I discovered that I could have bought two for a cheaper price! So, I went back to the store the next day with my receipt and asked if I could still get the deal. Unfortunately, they said no because I was already wearing the shirt. I mean, really? All I wanted was to buy another one, not to return the original!
Green packaway raincoat
I just bought this great green packaway raincoat from your shop and honestly, it's the best coat I've ever had. Not only does it look good, but it's also totally waterproof and breathable, which is perfect for the crazy British weather. Whenever I wear it, I always get loads of compliments, which just shows how good the quality and design are. And the packaway feature is so handy when I need to take it off and put it away.
Oversized Falmouth Rugby shirt
I bought the Falmouth Rugby shirt from this shop, and honestly, I was pretty gutted about the sizing. It was way bigger than any other rugby shirt I've got before - the length and sleeves were much longer. It's a pity because the shirt itself is actually really well-made and good quality. I tried to leave a review on the website, but I had a bit of a nightmare with the whole process, which was annoying.
Field wellies
I got these field wellies about 8 months ago, and you won't believe it - they completely fell apart! The lining inside got all messed up and torn, and now I've got blisters. I tried contacting customer service, but they weren't very helpful. Luckily, after I left a negative review, they suddenly decided to be nice and offered me a full refund. The wellies are still terrible, but at least I got my money back. So, thank you to the customer service team!
Canter Rust Brown Shower Resistant Long Wax Jacket
I was really let down by the Canter Rust Brown Shower Resistant Long Wax Jacket. It was supposed to be able to handle showers but it didn't hold up when it rained a bit harder. Twice it happened - after a misty day, I got caught in heavy rain and ended up drenched, even my clothes underneath the coat. It looks nice, but it's basically useless unless you can forecast the weather perfectly.
broken wellies
I picked up these wellies from a shop thinking they'd be dead good, but they ended up splitting within a few months of me wearing them. So, I decided to shoot the company an email to see if they could sort me out, and it was a right headache! At first, they couldn't locate my order because I couldn't remember which email address I used, but I gave them enough details to work it out. Then they had the cheek to say I hadn't even purchased from them! Like, really? After that, they claimed I didn't have an account with them, but obviously, I must have had one, otherwise, how could I have got in touch with them? Finally, they acknowledged that I did indeed buy the boots from them, but by then, I felt like they were accusing me of fibbing and nicking stuff! The whole situation was so stressful and took up a lot of my time. It's just not on that if a company is flogging duff gear, they should be able to swerve dealing with the fallout. I've been a loyal customer for yonks, but their customer service has gone right downhill ever since they teamed up with Next.
Refund issue resolved
I had a bit of trouble getting my refund for a specific item from Joules, but thankfully they sorted it out pretty quickly. I was having problems with a refund for a pink fair isle Charlotte jumper, but when I got in touch with customer service, they said they would check things out at the warehouse. After that, I got an email confirming that my refund was on its way. The way they communicated and followed up really made a difference and made me feel better about my experience with Joules.
Women's Wellington boots
I bought a pair of women's Wellington boots last December from this shop. Sadly, after only a few times wearing them, the boots have already split and let in water. I contacted customer service for help, but they just said it was my fault for buying them from a certain shop and couldn't do anything. I think it's more of a manufacturing problem rather than the fault of the shop where I got them. I wouldn't suggest these boots to anyone else because they don't seem to be as good quality as I thought they would be.
Polo and striped tops
Ever since the new management came in, the website has been a nightmare to use - always running out of stock and impossible to navigate. The cool and unique style that used to lure me in has been replaced with boring, generic stuff. It's really disappointing to see the quality and choice go downhill like this.
Faulty wellies
My wellies fell apart after just 6 weeks! I sent an email to the company, and at first, they said it wasn't their fault. But after I left a review online, they promptly sent me a gift card for the full amount. Big thanks to Joules for sorting out the issue!
Coat purchase
Although I was a bit unsure at first because of some bad reviews, I eventually took the plunge and ordered a coat from this store. I was really happy with how easy it was to order and how quickly it arrived at the store I chose. They kept me well informed throughout, and I was able to pick up the coat in no time at all. The whole collection process was really straightforward, and I was thrilled to see that the coat was just what I wanted. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase and the customer service from the store.

I've just bought the 'Wilcote' tan/brown waterproof padded coat and I have to say I'm really impressed with how good it is. The material is strong and the coat is well-made, just what you'd expect from a top brand like Joules. Also, it fits me perfectly and keeps me dry when it's wet outside. All in all, I'm a happy customer and I would definitely suggest this coat to anyone else.
Faulty wellies
I got these wellies and there's already a big bump inside after only wearing them four times! Who wears wellies all the time anyway? Joules has terrible customer service and wouldn't assist me because it was after their too short 12-month warranty. They're no good, don't buy from them!
Denim jeans purchase
I bought a pair of denim jeans from this store not long ago, and honestly, I'm really let down by the quality. After just a year of wearing them, they're already falling apart, which is pretty surprising considering they're supposed to be a well-known brand. I've got other jeans from different brands too, and I make sure to switch them up often, so it's quite annoying that these ones have worn out so fast.
Product bobbled, stitching issues, poor colour
The product I bought began to bobble, the stitching was coming undone, and the colour didn't look good even though I followed the washing instructions. I was really let down by the quality, especially considering how much they charged for it. I wouldn't even expect this kind of quality from something you'd buy at Primark.
Coat order for daughter
I had a really frustrating experience with my delivery being delayed and not hearing anything about stock availability. The company really needs to step up their customer service game and keep customers informed about their orders.
Clothing purchase
I've gotta say, my recent experience with this company has been a major let-down. I ordered some clothes online and they took ages to arrive, and when they did, the quality was seriously lacking. When I tried to get in touch with customer service for some help, all I got was unhelpful and uncaring responses. It's pretty clear that this company has some big problems with how they do things and how they treat their customers. Honestly, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your clothing purchases.
