Won’t be buying from them again — clothes turned up smelling like a bin, and that set the tone. I ordered a couple of things for work and a night out, but one skirt in particular smelled so bad I couldn’t even bring myself to try it on. I asked them to cover the £10 return postage since it was clearly their fault — parcel looked like it had been manhandled and had a ghastly odour — and they refused. On top of that, my two items came in separate parcels for no good reason, which was annoying. Customer service wasn’t helpful, and for about £200 you expect better. Bit gutted, really. I’m worried I won’t get a refund given other comments I’ve read. Not the experience I wanted. Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere, honestly.
Nice fit, poor follow-up
I was told I was outside the 30‑day window and there was nothing they could do. I tried to explain the timing — that they’d sat in my wardrobe unused — but the rep (who introduced herself as Summer) just read the policy back to me. It felt like a box‑ticking exercise, which is disheartening from a brand that markets itself as premium. The fabric and fit were otherwise great for casual workdays, and I was actually surprised the WhatsApp support let me upload photos when the website wouldn’t — small win — but it still ended with no solution. Overall useful item, poor aftercare.
Late-but-lovely set
I ordered a couple of pieces back in April and ended up waiting ages for the rest — so that coloured how I felt, but when the parcel finally turned up in August and I tried everything on, I was genuinely happy with the fabric and the fit. The top is soft, a bit slinky, sits nicely on the shoulders and the skirt drapes in a way I like — it's comfy, breathable, feels like it’ll last. I did have to swap sizes and pay to send things back, which irritated me (bit of a faff), and there was a silly customs kerfuffle even though their site says import costs are covered. Customer service were polite and apologetic, but not hugely helpful beyond that. Still, wearing the pieces now I’m glad I kept them, even if the season moved on; they match my other stuff perfectly and the colours are as pictured. Bit of frustration in the middle, but the clothes themselves are a win for me.
Not worth the delivery hassle
avoid them for deliveries, though I eventually got my money back. I ordered something, paid both delivery and return fees (and had to hit their minimum spend), and then they used Evri who clearly couldn’t be bothered. Parcel supposedly delivered to a concierge at an office — problem is, I live in a house, not a block of flats or an office. No card left, tracking photos and GPS don’t line up with my street. I messaged the shop on social because the site was glitchy and at first they just repeated “Evri says delivered” like that settled it. After pushing, they admitted fault and agreed to refund, but then asked for proof I actually live at my address before processing. Imagine if it had been a present to my sister — would I have had to move a utility bill to her town to get paid back? It felt deliberately awkward. So yeah, I’m somewhat satisfied the refund came through in the end, but the whole thing was unnecessary faff. My tip: stick with Zara or Asos unless you like running around proving you’re you.
Great leggings, dodgy pricing
the leggings themselves are brilliant, but the way the price and refund situation was handled left me wary. I bought a pair about two weeks ago for $125 because I really liked the fit, but they turned out a bit small so I returned them to swap for a bigger size. While I was waiting for the refund I noticed the same style had jumped to $165 — no sale banner, nothing obvious, just a sudden price hike. I messaged them on Instagram asking if they’d honour the price I initially paid. Their reply was a standard line about prices changing due to “sales and promotions” and that they don’t honour past sale prices — which felt like a brush-off, especially since there hadn’t been any sale when I bought mine. I’ve dealt with other brands who are more transparent, so I was sceptical at first. In the end I did get my refund after a bit of back-and-forth and I reordered the larger size because the leggings are worth it for me. So: good product, clunky communication and a pricing policy that needs to be clearer.
Lukewarm and late
despite receipts saying VAT was included, I was asked to pay at the post office, and because my items were split into two parcels I ended up paying twice. Emails felt pointless — same canned replies, no real resolution, no refunds offered. I'm mildly impressed by the product itself, I really am, but the whole buying experience was clunky and a bit dishonest. I wouldn't recommend unless you don't mind waiting and potentially paying surprise fees.
Postage code mess, but it got sorted in the end
I emailed a copy of the receipt and a short statment, they regenerated the code and arranged collection. I’m still a bit sceptical — took persistence — but the refund finally landed and their last response was reasonable. Delivery and returns were clunky compared with other shops I use, but the customer service did redeem themselves at the end. Wouldn’t buy the same items again based on the photos, though.
Nearly brilliant, if only the delivery had behaved
one part stuck in Belgium, the other showed a delivery photo that clearly wasn’t my door. Annoying, yes. What surprised me was the back-and-forth with customer service — at first it was slow, a bit copy-and-paste, and I had to chase more than once. But after a couple of messages someone proper took interest, asked for details and actually followed up. Not perfect, and the gap between replies was frustrating, but they did eventually sort a partial refund and a clearer update. So overall I’m pleased with the product and the end result, and I’d still recommend them to mates who like the style, just give yourself extra time and be prepared to nudge customer service if the delivery looks dodgy. Lesson learned: great stuff, slightly messy on the logistics.
Half a cuppa of relief
I'd been halfway through a mug of tea when I spotted the email saying the return had been logged. For a split second I actually relaxed — proper mini victory dance, silly but true. I'd ordered two trousers for about €300-worth (yeah, I know) and one pair was utterly the wrong size, plus they felt a bit cheap. So I packed it up, sent it back straight away and messaged customer support. They replied, short and to the point, which would have been fine if it ended there. The return was marked 'received'—and there it was, that tiny relief — only to realise three months later that my bank balance told a different story. The company insists they've refunded me, I insist otherwise. I've had more helpful chats with vending machines. Now I'm stuck jumping through hoops with my bank to try and reverse the payment, which is tedious and boring and, frankly, unnecessary. If you buy a lot online like me, this sort of palaver grinds you down. My tip? Photograph everything, keep every email, and don't assume 'received' equals money back. I appreciated the moment they acknowledged the parcel, that little human-ish reply, but in the end it didn't fix the problem. Bit of a mess. Would I order again? Probably, but not without a buffer and a very sharp memory.
Felt duped, honestly
I ordered a mattress topper because my lower back has been a nightmare since the move, and I really needed something that felt a bit more supportive right away. The website itself looked great — proper photos, sensible descriptions — which made me click through without thinking too much. I got an email straight away with a tracking number and the Shop app even picked it up, so I thought job done. Then things went sideways. The tracking number seemed to belong to a carrier called Whistl, but when I checked that number it came up wrong, and the shop’s own order status on their site still says it hasn’t been shipped. I rang and emailed customer service and it felt like talking to a wall — they kept saying it was delivered. No explanation, no “sorry”, and when I pointed out the mismatch they suggested I should have told them sooner. Bit rich, since the only evidence I had was the app and the retailer’s site saying different things. I’m left without the topper, still sore, and out of pocket — which stings. The one odd bright spot was how clear the product photos were; shame it didn’t match the follow-through. I’m in the middle of a bank dispute now, because I’m not getting answers, and it’s been stressful. If you need something urgently for back issues, I’d be cautious ordering from them — pretty hit-and-miss on follow-up.
Wardrobe roulette, not recommended
either the delivery fairy is bored or someone boxed up the wrong stuff. I tried to be calm (deep breaths) and returned what I had — only I never actually received the top, so I felt weird ticking it on the return form. Felt a bit dishonest marking something I didn't physically have, so I didn't. That decision led to a month of vague, templated emails from customer service about their 7–21 day policy — helpful, if you enjoy circular conversations with robots. The one bright spot? The DHL tracking app showed their return label and the package as delivered to their warehouse on 8 April, so at least the courier wasn't lying. Even with screenshots I had to chase them on Instagram and be firm (a tad shirty) before anything happened. Eventually I got a partial refund — only for the bottom — which I suppose is better than nothing. So, am I relieved it ended this way? Yes, somewhat. Grateful it wasn't a total loss and that the return did reach them. Still unimpressed with the communication and the runaround. If you like clear answers and minimal faff, this isn’t for you. If you don’t mind chasing things and digging out tracking screenshots, you might manage. I wouldn't risk it again though — too much time wasted.
Incorrect set ordered
I accidentally ordered the wrong set and needed to change it. Luckily, I got in touch with customer service and spoke to a helpful lady named Amie. She was really good at her job and sorted out my order mistake quickly. The company's customer service impressed me a lot. They replied fast and Amie fixed my problem without any delays. All in all, I'm happy with the service I got.
Cool clothes
I recently bought some really nice clothes and had a couple of questions about sizes and delivery. So, I thought I'd drop them an email, assuming I'd have to wait ages for a response. But surprise, surprise! They got back to me really fast! Nathasha was fantastic and assisted me with all my queries, from giving me advice on sizes to providing delivery information. Their customer service was top-notch, and I would definitely recommend them!
Three items for my wife
I bought three things for my wife from this shop the other day. Turns out, they weren't quite right when she tried them on, so we had to return them. But I was really impressed by how fast and smooth the whole return process was. Natasha from the online support team was great and made sure I got my refund without any hassle. All in all, I feel good about the trust that's been built between me and the store after this experience.
Return issue resolved
I had a problem with a return not long ago and I have to admit, Team MDV really impressed me with their fantastic customer service. I was so thankful for Ellie who went the extra mile to help sort out my issue. She was really quick and was able to solve everything without any fuss. Ellie, if you happen to see this, thank you very much for all your help, it really means a lot to me! ❤️
Deceitful Return Process
Their return process is really sneaky, especially for customers in the US. They've set it up so that return packages take ages to get back to them. The courier they use can take more than a month just to deliver your return, which is way longer than the 2-week limit for qualifying for a refund. So if your return is late, tough luck - you're out of luck. It's a totally unfair system that's left me feeling so annoyed and let down. I'll definitely be shopping somewhere else from now on.
Excellent customer service
I had a brilliant experience with the customer service team, especially with Amie. She was so helpful and quick to respond to all my questions and worries. Her help really made my shopping experience nice and easy. I can't thank her enough for all her hard work and professionalism.
Lost parcel
After having to return my order at first, I must say I was really impressed with the customer service provided by Emma from the customer care team at Maniere De Voir. Even though it wasn't their fault that my parcel got lost, Emma really went out of her way to help me with my return. Her professionalism and willingness to assist me have really made a positive impact on me. I truly value the time and effort she put into sorting out the problem, and it has definitely made me trust the brand even more. Despite the initial hiccup with my order, I am now confident in Maniere De Voir's dedication to customer satisfaction, and I will definitely consider buying from them again in the future.
Wrong order issue
I received the wrong order from this store but they were really quick to sort it out and give me a refund. Emma was lovely and very helpful! The customer service was outstanding, much better than I thought it would be. Thank you so much!
Quick and helpful customer service
I had a really good experience with the customer service team, especially Natasha. She was so helpful with my order, really knew her stuff and made sure I had all the info I needed. The service was quick and went above and beyond what I was expecting.
