Living rose for bereavement gift
I bought a living rose as a present for my friend who has been through a tough time. She really liked the idea of the rose symbolising the memory of her loved one. When the first flower bloomed, it made her smile again. It meant a lot to her and was even more special because she had received a rose from the same place before. Now she feels like her husband and son are watching over her and smiling.
Rose plant
My experience buying a rose plant from this shop wasn't great, to be honest. I ordered it, but didn't hear anything about when it would arrive until I emailed them to ask. Finally got it, but the soil was all loose and looked like it had been chucked around. Some of the leaves had fallen off too, so it didn't look very healthy. I've planted it in some good soil now, so fingers crossed it perks up and does well in its new home.
Bouquet of roses
I bought a bunch of roses from World of Roses and when they arrived, they weren't in great shape. Some of the stems were broken and the compost was everywhere. But when I got in touch with the company and showed them photos of the damaged flowers, they quickly offered to send me a new bunch or give me my money back. I was really happy with how they dealt with the problem, they were quick to sort it out and their customer service was top-notch.
Replacement rose
I had to get a new rose because the first one I got didn't survive. The staff were really understanding and replaced it straight away. The service was excellent, I didn't have to argue or plead for a new rose.
One dozen roses
I was so disappointed with the roses I bought. I got them for a friend, but when they arrived, they looked really sad. Barely any leaves, all droopy. I had to quickly go out and get another gift because there was no way I could give such sad flowers. Plus, the box they came in was all torn, the compost spilling out. And they didn't even include a gift card! So annoying. When I tried to contact customer service, it took ages for them to reply. Waste of nearly £30. Won't use this service again, that's for sure.
Rose bushes named after my mother's triplets
I bought some rose bushes recently that are named after my mum's triplets, who were born in 1941. It was lovely to see that the roses looked healthy, and the Rosemary had some beautiful flowers already blooming on it. The packaging was done really well, so the plants arrived safely. It was a nice reminder of my mum's children who are no longer with us, and I really appreciate the kind gesture.
Gift-wrapped Birthday Rose
I bought a beautiful Birthday Rose for my daughter and had it wrapped up as a gift. When it got delivered, my daughter was absolutely thrilled because it was wrapped so nicely and was really high quality. It was definitely worth the money, so thank you!
Bouquet of Roses
I bought a lovely bunch of roses from this company not long ago. It's a shame that two of the roses weren't as good as I hoped. They did refund me for those two, which was nice of them. But then, when the last rose turned out to be a bit of a let down too, there was a bit of confusion about the refund. I pointed out the mistake, and they said they would sort it out and send me a replacement rose. At first, they said the replacement had been sent out, but then after a couple of weeks they changed their minds and just refunded me for the whole lot, including cancelling my order.
Special Rose for Father's 80th birthday
I bought a special rose for my dad's 80th birthday, but I had to give the store a bell after a couple of weeks because it still hadn't arrived. They explained that it was out of stock and on its way. Sadly, I had to make do with a not-so-impressive rose for my old man's big day.
Roses for friends and wife
I've always been really happy with the roses I've bought from this place. I've got them for my friends and my wife, and I've just ordered more for my wife. The roses always come looking really good, much better than what I can find at the garden centre near me. The range and freshness of the roses are great, and they never fail to make the person receiving them smile. I'd definitely suggest this place to anyone wanting to buy some lovely, top-notch roses.
Birthday gift, arrived late
I ordered a birthday present two months in advance and even sent a reminder email, but it still arrived late. I've emailed to complain but I haven't heard anything back yet.
Named rose in memory of late husband
I have to admit, I was really happy with how the roses from World of Roses were packaged. The box they came in was great, keeping them safe and making sure they were perfect when they arrived. The care instructions were useful too for keeping the roses looking their best. I got a rose with a special name in memory of my husband, so it was really important that they were in top condition, and World of Roses definitely came through. Definitely deserving of five stars.
Sympathy Roses Purchase
I bought some sympathy roses from this company not long ago and I have to say, the quality was really fantastic. The service I got was top-notch and the flowers were packaged really nicely. The prices were fair and I thought it was good value for what I paid. The delivery arrived on time, which was important as it was for a special gift to remember a loved one who had passed away.
Product quality and service
I've been a customer of this company for years, trusting their high-quality products and great service to send gifts to my loved ones. But, my last order was delayed, and I was a bit let down. Normally, they're great with delivery and the presentation, but this time, I think maybe because of the Chelsea Flower Show and the Bank Holiday, my friend didn't get their gift in time for their birthday.
Rose plant
I just bought a rose plant from this company and I have to say, I was pretty happy with how everything turned out. The delivery did take a bit longer than I thought it would, but when I checked the details, I saw that they had mentioned a 10 working day delivery period, so I guess I can't really complain about that. The rose plant I got was really healthy, with loads of new growth, which was a nice little bonus. I'm definitely happy with the quality of the product.
Rose for deceased friend
I ordered a rose in memory of my friend who passed away last year. I asked for it to be delivered to two other friends who looked after him in his final weeks. They kept me in the loop the whole time and let me know when the rose reached my friends safely. They really loved the rose and thought the quality was top-notch. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person.
Rose delivery
The rose I ordered turned up in a right state. It came in a cardboard box that looked like it had been through the wars, with leaves and stems sticking out all over the place. The compost had spilled all over the bottom of the box as well. On top of that, I shelled out some extra cash for it to be delivered on a particular day, but it showed up a day early, completely ruining the whole point. All in all, it was a bit of a let-down.
Special Son rose
I bought a Special Son rose from your shop not long ago, and I must say I was really impressed with how lovely and healthy it was. It arrived right on time, just as you promised. The only problem I had was with the tag that had the name of the rose, "Special Son." That tag meant a lot to me because I got the rose for a friend who had sadly lost her young son, so it was important that the name was clear.
Recent rose purchase
I bought a rose from this place recently and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. It did take a little while for the order to arrive because they were so busy, but the rose came in perfect condition. I've already planted it and I can already see some buds starting to come through.
Very Poor Service
Wouldn't change order despite having time.
I placed an order for a Rose. Immediately after I sent the order, I realised I had ordered a climber instead of a bush. I contacted them immediately. Today I received a message to say they had picked and packed the climbing plant ready for shipment so it was too late to change my order - even though the plant has not yet been sent out. I had thought that a small family run company would provide a better service. Very disappointed and I won't be buying from them again! I'll also be contacting the owner to make them aware of the poor service his staff provide.
