Last minute getaway to Hedley Wood
I recently booked a last-minute trip to a campsite in Hedley Wood. The journey was a bit of a nightmare with all the traffic delays, which was a real downer when we first arrived. And to top it off, the onsite shop was closed, so I couldn't even grab a nice cuppa to unwind. But, the real highlight of the trip was Ellie in the bar. Despite the rocky start, she really went out of her way to make me feel at home. I mentioned I needed some milk and was about to head out to find some, but Ellie kindly offered to grab some for me from the shop (I could pay her back the next day). Her kindness and top-notch service really made my day.
The camp itself was lovely, with a nice big pool and a fun hot tub area. My daughter had an absolute blast at the Star Wars event on Saturday, spending the whole day having a whale of a time. Despite the initial hiccups, we had a fantastic trip and will definitely be back for another visit. I've recently moved from a holiday park near Bude to a new one with my Cockerpoo puppy Bailey. The staff at the new park were so helpful, especially Leighann who sorted out all the paperwork for my caravan upgrade. The park itself is amazing, with lots to do and stunning views. I was a bit worried about being near the entertainment center, but it's been absolutely fine. The weather has been lovely, and I've had a great time exploring the area despite my limited mobility. Bailey even had his first paddle in the sea! All in all, it's been the best decision I've made and I wish I'd done it sooner. It's just like paradise here. Why not come and join us?
Stayed at Lossiemouth bay caravan park
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lossiemouth Bay caravan park and it was absolutely fantastic. The cottage we stayed in was stunning, with little personal touches that made it feel really special. It was just right for my family. The whole place was spotlessly clean and they had literally thought of everything, from towels and robes to slippers, shampoo, soap, and even an abundance of toilet rolls. I honestly couldn't fault it, and I'll definitely be booking with them again in the future. A huge thank you for such a wonderful stay!
Purchased two caravans
I recently bought my second caravan from the sales team at the park and I have to say, the experience was amazing. Jamie Sinclair, the salesperson, was brilliant. He was so helpful and attentive the entire time. Not once did he pressure me, instead he was really kind and did everything he could to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I had bought my first caravan from him before, and the easy part exchange just made the experience even more enjoyable.
Family holiday at a beach park
Oh, it was terrible, honestly. We went on this family holiday and it was the worst one yet. We arrived really late, and the food at the clubhouse was just awful. The prices were outrageous! For example, they wanted £4 for a mere THREE slices of garlic bread. I mean, you can buy a whole pack at the store for much less! And those frozen chips - oh, they made me feel so ill. We eventually got to our supposedly fancy Gold Plus caravan, but the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. I could feel every spring poking into me, so I had to sleep on the sofa every night - the bed was simply a no-go.
To make matters worse, the TV in the caravan across from us was blaring so loudly that we couldn't get any sleep for four nights straight! What a nightmare. Supposedly, the cleaner even mentioned that the caravan might be haunted because the volume would mysteriously turn itself up, and they could hear a child crying when no one was inside. It was absolutely chilling!
And don't get me started on the pool - there were hardly any changing rooms, so we had to stand there freezing until one became available. Then, on our last night, the smoke alarm kept beeping due to a dead battery, and the heating wasn't working because there was no gas. We were literally shivering. It took security an eternity - about 3 hours in the dead of night - to rectify the situation. It was a complete nightmare, honestly.Straightforward explanations
I had a great time at this place! The staff were really helpful and knew their stuff, making sure to explain everything clearly. There were no sneaky fees or surprises. Eben and his team were polite and took the time to answer all my questions, which made me feel confident in my decision to buy. I'd definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants an easy and informative shopping experience.
Holiday home purchase
The sales team at this place were absolutely amazing. They made sure to listen to all my concerns before I made the big purchase, and they were always quick to fix any problems that came up afterwards. They kept me updated throughout the whole process, which I really liked. All in all, I had a really good experience dealing with them.
Holiday lodge purchase
I've just bought the most amazing holiday lodge in Oaklands and it's absolutely great! The whole process of purchasing it went really well. We're thrilled with our lodge and the park it's in. We did have a few issues with the boiler, but they were sorted out very promptly.
Stay at a beautiful park
I had such a great time at the caravan park! The staff were amazing, especially the entertainment team. The caravan was super clean and had everything we needed, plus the park was absolutely beautiful and well looked after. Definitely planning on returning next year!
Upgrading purchase
When I decided to upgrade, the sales manager at the holiday park was really helpful. Unlike other salespeople I've met before, he didn't try to persuade me or use any sneaky sales tactics. It was nice to get simple and real customer service.
Caravan
The folks who sold me the caravan were really helpful. Jack and Karen were amazing and it was great dealing with them. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks a lot for your fantastic service!
Overpriced Off-Season Stay
My recent stay in a place that is supposed to fit 10 people was an absolute nightmare. There wasn't enough space or amenities, the beds were uncomfortable, and the place was dirty. Having only one bathroom for 10 people was ridiculous, and having to walk around in socks to avoid dirt was disgusting. The lack of towels, a coffee machine, and dirty glassware just made the whole experience even worse. I can't understand how anyone thought it would be okay for 10 people to stay in such a small and poorly maintained caravan. It's just baffling.
Holiday park stay
The customer service at this holiday park was absolutely terrible. When we got there, the staff were really rude and not helpful at all, which made us feel like we weren't wanted. The caravan we got wasn't great - it was pretty run-down inside and not very good quality. The park itself wasn't anything special either, with not many facilities and some areas not very clean.
Holiday at New beach Kent
I was really let down by the lack of staff at New Beach in Kent. The restaurant was a total mess - tables were all cluttered and the food took ages to come, plus it was cold and not very good. Some of the staff were a bit rude, which wasn't great.
But on the bright side, our lodge was nice and tidy, plus it was comfy. The kids had a good time, so that's something!Rude park workers
It was awful, mate. The staff at the restaurant were dead rude. They came up to us at like 10 PM on a Saturday and said they'd chuck us out if we didn't pipe down. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they started racially profiling us just because of some rubbish that another customer had made up. Dead unfair, innit?
Membership experience
I signed up for a membership, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Some parts were fun, but there were some extra charges and rules that weren't clear. I don't get why I have to pay more for mini golf with my friends. And they told me I could bring a certain number of people, but then said everyone needed photo ID. It's just not cool!
My holiday at this place
I want to tell you about my recent holiday experience. I went to this place, but honestly, it was a bit of a nightmare! The park warden was not very nice and said some really unpleasant things that made me feel uncomfortable. The general vibe wasn't very welcoming either. I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone looking for a good time on their holiday.
Expensive holiday home purchase
I thought it would be a good idea to buy a holiday home, but ended up spending more on a newer model that still has problems. It seems like the park doesn't really bother with fixing things once they have your money.
Short break at a holiday park
I just wanted to share that my recent trip to a holiday park was terrible because of the awful service I got. When we got there, we had an issue with our room, but the staff took ages to sort it out and didn't seem to care. They were unhelpful and didn't really seem to listen to us. It was really disappointing and frustrating overall.
