    T-shirt exchange

    I took back the t-shirt because it was the wrong size, but I never received the replacement or any explanations. I'm really disappointed because now my order has been cancelled. It's fine if there were issues with the stock, but it would have been better to be kept informed rather than being left clueless and without my money. I tried to get in touch with them on Instagram as they suggested, but I was redirected to the website where it's not easy to contact them. Eventually, I managed to chat with someone online and they informed me that my item had been cancelled and I had been refunded. They acknowledged that I must be frustrated, but obviously, I wasted more time for no good reason!

    I had such a great time ordering a bike through the Cycle to Work scheme at Evans Cycles. Everything went really smoothly and I was so happy when the bike arrived all set up, except for the pedals. The delivery was super quick and even the tyres were pumped up just right. I was really impressed by the level of service and how much attention to detail they put into everything.

    Cycling shoes for a cycling holiday

    I recently ordered a pair of cycling shoes for an upcoming cycling holiday. I wanted to make sure I had them in time for my trip to France, so I went for next day delivery. However, when the shoes didn't arrive on time, I asked about getting a replacement with next day delivery, only to be told they had already been sent out. I was left waiting, but they still didn't show up promptly. In the end, I had to cancel the order and now I'm stuck dealing with the returns and refund process while I'm on holiday. It's been really frustrating and it's definitely put a downer on my holiday preparations. As someone who depends on getting things on time, I'm really disappointed with the service I've received.

    Saddle repair

    My friend, I've got to share with you this story about my visit to the bike shop. I arrived at the Clapham High Street store right before closing time with a pesky issue with my saddle. The manager didn't think twice, he grabbed his Allen keys, sorted me out expertly, and also took the time to walk me through what he'd done so I could fix it myself in the future. And would you believe it, he did all this with a smile and didn't charge me a penny! Now that's what I call excellent customer service. I've always had a high opinion of Evans Cycles, they're reliable and have some fantastic staff, like that manager.

    Bike purchase with bent disc brake

    Dealing with the online team at Evans Cycles has honestly been a bit of a nightmare. It felt like we sent a crazy amount of emails back and forth just to get someone to help sort out the problem with the bike my partner bought. There were issues with the disc brake and even some little scratches on the frame, which made me wonder if this bike had been sent back by someone else before. The communication hasn't been great - the replies seem like they haven't really paid attention to what we've said or read our emails properly. It was nice of them to offer to repair, replace, or refund the bike, but as per the consumer rights, a full refund is definitely the right way to go. All in all, the whole experience has been really frustrating and disappointing.

    I have to admit, I was a bit unsure at first before I placed my order, but I have to say, my experience with this company was absolutely brilliant. I wanted to buy a new bike and I was really pleased when it turned up quickly and with no problems at all. The whole ordering process was nice and simple, and the website was really easy to use. When I did have a question and got in touch with customer service, they were really polite and helpful, sorting out my concerns straight away.     Mountain bike purchase

    I recently bought a mountain bike from this company and let me tell you, it was a total disaster from beginning to end. I placed my order and paid with PayPal, thinking it was reliable, only to have my order cancelled not once, but twice! The first time it was cancelled because of an 'unauthorised payment', which is nonsense as the money was taken from my account straight away. So, I decided to try again and placed the order once more, only for it to be cancelled for the same reason. What a joke! On top of that, I still have pending charges from both transactions even though the orders were cancelled. Completely unacceptable.

    New bike

    Oh mate, I got this wicked new bike right, but it turned out to be a right dud. I had to wait ages for a replacement, and when it finally arrived, the left pedal kept coming loose. I had a go at sorting it out myself, but no joy. Customer service were useless, saying it wasn't their issue. Now I can't even ride my new bike, and they expect me to cough up to get it fixed. Urgh, why did I even bother with this bike? It's just not on.

    Ebike Whyte e-506

    I bought the Whyte e-506 Ebike from the store online not long ago. The whole buying process went well, and the delivery came on time. The delivery company did a good job, although there was a small problem with the front light being broken. Luckily, it was an easy fix and didn't affect the bike's performance. Setting up the bike was straightforward, just had to tweak the handlebars a bit. All in all, I'm happy with how the bike rides.

    The bike I bought was really good and just what I wanted. But I was a bit let down by the express 2-day delivery service I paid extra for. It actually took four days for the bike to turn up, which was annoying as I needed it quicker. They didn't even say sorry or offer to give me something back for the late delivery, which was a shame. Still, I'm pleased with the bike itself.

    Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this company. I purchased a bike online, specifically in a size M, but was sent a size M/L instead. When I mentioned the mistake, they first tried to argue that the sizes were the same until I provided evidence otherwise. It turns out they didn't even have the M size available and still sent me the wrong one. This kind of misrepresentation and inconvenience to customers is just not on. I'm still waiting for them to pick up the incorrect bike, and they won't exchange it for the right one until then. It's been three weekends now without a bike, all because of their incompetence. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.

    I recently got myself an ebike from this shop as part of the cycle to work scheme and it was such a breeze! Their website was user-friendly and much better than other bike stores out there.     I recently bought a bike from this shop and it was a bit of a mixed bag. To start with, I decided to splurge on the next day delivery option, only to find out that my order was actually dispatched two days later. So instead of getting it in a day, I had to wait three days. Quite a letdown, really, since I was counting on it arriving sooner.

    When the bike eventually turned up, I noticed that the tyres were actually put on the wrong way round at the factory. It was annoying because I had to take the time to fix that before I could ride it. Other than these hiccups, though, the whole buying and delivery process was pretty smooth.

    1000 lumen bike light

    I've just bought the 1000 lumen bike light and although the brightness is great, I was a bit gutted to see that the strap was too short. It was a pain trying to fit it onto my bike properly. I reckon the manufacturer should sort out this problem for their next products.

    Pinnacle Jacket purchase

    I bought a jacket from this cycle shop not long ago and was really pleased with the service I got. Communication could have been improved a bit, but the jacket actually arrived earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. The jacket fits snugly but it's just right for me, and it's breathable so I only need to wear a thin layer underneath. If you plan to layer up though, I'd suggest getting a bigger size. It's perfect for those chilly morning rides to work, and I would definitely suggest checking out this shop.

    Bike too big

    I ordered a bike, but it took forever to arrive. And when it finally did, it turned out to be way too big for me, even though I made sure to check the size guide. I had to buy extra bits and bobs to make it fit properly. Definitely not cool.
