I almost didn't order — had read a bit of scepticism and I've been burned by overseas shops before. Still, I took a punt on Saturday and the shoes arrived Thursday, which is decent for free international delivery. Got the tracking emails, item was as described and price seemed fair. My doubts mostly vanished, quietly, no fuss.
Dodgy delivery, decent kit
Spotted it on Instagram and thought I'd give it a go, even told a mate to order one. My parcel never arrived — calls during their stated hours went to voicemail and when I did get through a German rep was quite abrupt, not great. Oddly, my mate did receive hers and the fabric felt unexpectedly nice and sturdy, so the product seems decent despite the poor delivery.
Spotted on a mate's counter
I first saw the gadget on a mate’s kitchen worktop and tippped it to my sister — thought I’d be clever and ordered. It went awol for weeks, emails pinged back and forth and I was ready to chuck it in. Then, finally, the refund landed and I breathed out; not perfect, but relief. Bit annoyed, but sorted in the end.
Late pair, mixed feelings
I remember hesitating because of the price and dodgy reviews — needed new trainers for my commute. They turned up after nearly three weeks, which annoyed me, and getting answers was like pulling teeth; emails ignored, calls dropped. Sizing issue with a silver lining
the drop-off was simple, I got tracking updates and three days later the depot had signed for them. That was reassuring in a very basic way — at least something moved. After that, though, communication dropped off. I rang, got music on hold for ages, then silence; emails mostly went unanswered for a week or two. I kept a sceptical tone, I wasn’t going to assume the refund would just appear.
In the end I did get my money back after a couple more contacts. It wasn’t slick, not at all, but the refund did come and the tracking made it possible to prove the return. Paid 80.80 pounds for my order
I spent a massive 80.80 pounds on my order, but after waiting for 2.5 weeks, my package is nowhere to be seen. I've tried calling several times, but no one answers or calls me back. I've also sent loads of emails, but have not received any replies. It feels like I'm stuck in a void with no communication, and I feel completely helpless. To be honest, this whole situation seems like a scam to me. I'm still left without my shoes, and I wish I never ordered from them. Avoid this place to save yourself the frustration.
Trainers purchase
At first, I was a bit unsure about buying my trainers from a company overseas, but I must say my experience with Running Point was really good. I bought a pair of running shoes from Running Point not long ago, but I never got them.
