Carpet cleaner hire from Bangor branch
My mum and I recently got a carpet cleaner from the Bangor branch, and it went really smoothly. Unfortunately, I couldn't go with my mum to pick up the machine because of work, but I felt better knowing that the staff at the branch were so helpful. I was worried about my mum having to lift the heavy machine into the car herself, but the man at the counter kindly carried it out for her without her even having to ask. The customer service was top-notch and really went above and beyond what I expected. We always go to this company for our equipment hire needs and we've never had any problems. I would definitely recommend them.
Scaffold tower hire
I was really pleased with how straightforward it was to rent a scaffold tower from this company. The whole thing was easy, the price was fair, and there were no surprises. The staff were friendly and knew what they were talking about, helping me choose the best equipment for what I needed. I was also happy with how quickly they gave me back my deposit once I returned everything. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to rent equipment, and I will be using them again in the future.
Whacker hire
I've just hired a whacker from this company, and I have to say I was really impressed with the service I got. The folks in the store were brilliant, they helped me find the perfect equipment for what I needed. The whacker itself was in top-notch condition, ideal for my DIY project at the weekend. The price was fair too, which just added to the whole positive experience. I'd definitely suggest this company to anyone in need of hiring equipment.
iPaf training at HSS Hire
I popped down to HSS Hire today for my iPaf training and it was absolutely brilliant. I had the chance to get to grips with those hefty machines and surprisingly, it was quite enjoyable. Owen, the chap who was leading the training, was top notch and he made it really engaging. We even had a chat about our own encounters with mewps. The only downside was that the toilets could do with a bit of attention, but apart from that, it was spot on.
Rental of a piece of equipment
The customer service at the store was absolutely outstanding. The staff really went the extra mile to help me with everything I needed for my rental. The guy at reception was so lovely and welcoming, he made the whole process really pleasant. The equipment I hired worked like a dream and was spot on for what I was working on. All in all, a fantastic experience at the store.
Booking process straightforward
The booking process was really simple and quick. I found what I was looking for without any trouble and booked it with ease. The staff I dealt with when collecting and returning the item were so friendly and really helpful. It was a nice surprise to get a refund for bringing the item back early. I had a great experience overall and I would definitely use their services again in the future.
Tools hire from Ladbroke Grove branch
I recently got some tools from this great bloke named Rory from a spot in Ladbroke Grove. He was proper helpful and really went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. We had to switch our booking last minute 'cause one of our mates had to go to the hospital, but Rory made sure it was all sorted without any bother. I would definitely suggest Rory if you need tools, he's the top guy in that whole place! Cheers!
Outstanding customer service
I popped into the shop on a Saturday morning and was really impressed by the service I got from the guy who helped me out. He was super helpful, knew his stuff, and even went the extra mile to make sure I had all the details I needed to choose wisely what to buy. His professionalism and friendly attitude made my trip to the shop a great one. I'll definitely be back because of the amazing service I got.
Helpful Hull Branch
I had a great experience at the Hull branch during my rental. The staff there really helped me out by helping with loading and unloading the equipment, which made everything much easier. I even had to extend the rental period, but that was a breeze. The equipment itself was top-notch and they had a wide range to choose from. It was all round a great experience.
Carpet cleaner hire
I had to get a carpet cleaner quickly, so I found a local hire shop that had one to rent. Ordering it was easy, and I managed to pick it up on the same day. They provided an instruction leaflet which was handy, even though I had used a similar one in the past. Using the machine was straightforward, and I could easily return it when I was done with no issues.
Costly damage waiver charges
I felt let down with the extra fees for the damage waiver whenever I extended my rental. The fact that the fees were a portion of the total rental cost ended up making the overall price a lot more than I had anticipated. It left me feeling annoyed and not keen on coming back for future rentals.
Negligent customer service
I was really disappointed with the customer service I received from Evan. It seemed like he didn't want to hear what I had to say and just stayed on the phone, not really engaging with me. I felt ignored and unimportant, which was frustrating and left me feeling dissatisfied with the whole experience. I won't be going back to them for any future services.
Hired carpet cleaner not working
I hired a carpet cleaner to give my stinky carpet a good wash, but you won't believe what happened - it just wouldn't work! I was really frustrated because it was a bank holiday, so I couldn't even swap it for a working one. When I took it back and explained the situation, the staff assured me that someone would be in touch, but I never heard from anyone! I had to pay for a broken machine and my carpet is still dirty. Not a great experience, really.
Wood chipper rental experience
I hired a wood chipper from this company, but it couldn't handle what I needed it for. However, the customer service at the Aylesbury branch was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and quick in sorting out my refund when I returned the equipment. I was impressed by their professionalism and willingness to help.

I thought the whole experience, from booking to collection and drop off, was really easy and stress-free. The instructional video they gave me was a fantastic extra touch and made it much clearer how to use the equipment correctly.

The staff member who helped me hand over the equipment was really friendly and helpful. Even though I didn't catch his name, he made the whole process easy and enjoyable with his welcoming attitude. I often visit the Parkway branch in Sheffield, and I always receive great customer service there.
