    After deciding to book an extra week i changed my flights as per "manage my booking" but was then told i can't change my hotel transfer so they would still come to hotel for nothing and not when i was actually leaving and that i can't extend my airport carpark stay (which i don't believe) so will have to book it all again! Price was reasonable but service atrocious as "Sandy bot" is as much use as a chocolate fireguard and over half an hour to get through on phone if you are lucky. Shame but wouldn't recommend or use again.

    We booked a £4000 holiday to Cuba on the 28th of December, all inclusive for March 2023.
    After paying the full amount, only by chance we were made aware that we may have to pay an additional £300 for US Visas because our flights change in Miami (we aren't even leaving the airport).
    I contacted Love Holidays via their live chat (which by the way is the only way to contact them).
    A very obnoxious agent called Banele told me that they cannot give any details as to travel requirements and I needed to check online.
    I then asked to cancel the holiday and was informed that I would only receive a refund of £1867.87 of the £4000 we have paid.
    We are also unable to speak to anyone on the telephone as it is more than 4 weeks until our holiday.
    Starting small claims claim today for the full amount.
    Absolutely shocking behaviour and Love Holidays you should be ashamed of your customer service.

    Worst travel company I have ever come across... I have had a very dark and depressing few years, with a lot of family stresses including health being a real negative factor. With my mum. Fighting cancer, going through chemo and my dad battling diabetes, having both his legs chopped off. I booked a holiday in April with love holidays and in August they went and cancelled the whole holiday. I contacted them and said why did you do this? They said they are sorry and that I should use the website and book it again?? I went online and I saw the holiday but it was £1200 more expensive and the luxury swim up room was no longer available. I had booked individually with my 5 of my friends and I was the instigater for the holiday but I got done bad. They said they can not do anything else for me. Not even offer me a discount. But then could book me a standard room in the hotel at a more expensive rate than I paid for the swim up.

    I explained my concerns above and how the holiday is needed for my mental well being and it was ignored. I am gutted I have booked multiple holidays with them. I would never use them again even if I had to. I would not recommend them to anyone. Now I know that sometimes it's the individual who ruins a companies reputation but in this case its a collective experience from multiple agents that has ruined my whole year and sent me back to my dark days.... I Hope they use this particular experience and better them selves. Its not nice feeling the way I am because of a company that's supposed to make you love holidays!

    DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM LOVE HOLIDAYS, IT TOOK 5 HOURS TO TRY TO GET A RESPONSE FROM THEIR SO CALLED 'CUSTOMER SERVICE', NO-ONE AVAILABLE IN THEIR CHAT SERVICE, THEIR IN-RESORT TEAM TAKE A HOUR TO ANSWER THEN THE ANSWER IS NO, WE CAN'T HELP YOU, CALL SOMEONE ELSE, TRY OUR CHAT SERVICE ETC ETC. IF YOUR HOLIDAY PLANS CHANGE DON'T BOTHER GETTING THEM TO HELP! I SO WISH I HAD NEVER PAID THE FINAL PAYMENT AS THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.     Ryanair holidaya

    First of all, I wasa looking for Ryanair Holidays, went to Ryanair Holiday web site, booked the flight then it went onto LOVE HOLIDAYS!!!! I thought this strange at the time, but went ahead and booked the holiday and paid it monthly. Went to check in with Ryanair and could not as had to do ... recognition which we tried about 11 times. Rang up Ryanair, and they booked me in with a free check in both ways. Also rang LOVE HOLIDAYS and they said it was nothing to do with Ryanair Air, even though they had advertised the holiday as Ryanair Holidays.s My daughter has also had trouble with love holidays, their whizz air flight was cancelled and could not get one so had to add a days holiday on, they had to pay 160 extra and again love holidays did NOT help. What is the point of having a travel agent if they do not help.

    DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BOOK WITH LOVE HOLIDAYS. Worst holiday of our lives, tried everything to get them to move us or help us racking up a big phone bill to do this and they didn't bother coming back to us. Since coming home we've requested a full refund and it's got worse and worse. First of all they wouldn't come back to us, then when we finally got an answer after having to contact someone on LinkedIn, they told us we couldn't have a refund as we didn't try and sort it out while we were there. - They have phone logs of us calling them on a number of occasions so they are actually lying!

    Now taking legal action. Please avoid at all costs!

    You should log into manage my booking and select post travel query. Fill that out and let them know what your issues were. They can take a while to investigate although they will reach out to you.

    Rhodes package

    We had so many issues with our hotel - and went with a package specifically so that this could be resolved if there were any problems. This really didn’t happen and I will never be using love holidays again. You’re honestly just a number and they have total disregard for you being on holiday and your time being precious.

    Specific issues with the hotel:
    - unreliable hot water in the room
    - there was mould in the bath whirlpools
    - the main larger pool area/bar is closed
    - the larger pool is unclean, green with algae
    - the smaller pool that is open is also ...,
    - there is very little food options to meet dietary requirements, the salad is frozen. We have spoke to the chef, who was rude to us
    - everything is tinned or frozen including salad and fruit
    - the dining area is unclean and your are expected to drink from plastic children’s beakers
    - there is limited staff, unable to get drinks as and when although it is "all inclusive".
    - snack bar is closed, there are two flavours of dry cake left on the bar from breakfast this is uncovered and often had flys nearby
    - the wifi is only available in reception and dining room and signal is poor
    - there is what looks like blood smeared on our wardrobe
    - there is some unknown grease stain on the bathroom wall
    - the sunbeds are build from chip board and very unsturdy
    - there is no hand soap available in any bathroom including the hotel room
    - you are not allowed to keep glasses in to the bedroom, meaning no water in the night
    - there are cats everywhere, while they’re cute they beg you for the food constantly (at least someone enjoys it)

    We called on the beach twice and sent them photos

    We tried our best to raise the issues with the manager of the hotel who was rude and refused to acknowledge anything wrong at all or discuss a refund (via love holidays) but she wouldnt even speak to us.

    We called them again but We got no help from on the beach. following another night we moved ourselves as waiting for them would have ruined our holiday.

    We advised them of this move. In total we paid 1200 for our holiday, which I recognise was (what we thought) a good deal - this was due to us booking in lock down. 820 of this was for the hotel. We have been refunded 400. This is less than half and we only stayed their 3 nights.

    There was no matter of urgency to help us and no understanding that this was a holiday. We are both nurses and worked through the Covid. Only to be treated like cattle by this company.

    I will be speaking to a financial ombudsman when I am home, as they promised a service and did not provide it. We were so horrified and to be refunded half for less that a quarter of our stay (3 out of 14 nights) is a joke.

    I’m hoping we can resolve this further once we are home

    i can understand that your angry , but this review is more about the hotel you picked ! rather than love holidays as a company

    Awful experience and poor customer service. You pay for a service and you need to keep chasing them. Some of the times that I call them I was on the phone waiting for 1 hour.

    Extremely rude customer service representatives and one of them is definitely Miss Nicki.

    I will definitely not recommend this company to my family and friends.

    Simply the worst!!!

    Hawaiian trip

    Booked a flight to Hawaii’s before the pandemic and obviously it was cancelled. Haven’t been able to get over $1,000 back from the airline because they have requested that loveholidays call them to initiate the process. Loveholidays refuses to do so citing “it’s not our policy to do so.” Have spoken to numerous individuals but they reside to call me or the airline. It’s been a complete disaster working with them. First and last time I’ll book with them.

    Absolute disgrace. Going on holiday in 2 days and no info. Still not heard anything from this disgraceful company. The thing is my hotel is closed. Cannot contact and am always 260 in live chat. It states on their site we contact you within a week of your holiday. Tip - dont book with these imbecoles.

    What a disgusting experience. I would argue however, they are not imbeciles they are clever criminals!

    Love Holidays: The Worst Travel Company Ever?

    Initially booked a holiday to Berlin for August 2020, but this was finally cancelled by Love Holidays for no legitimate reason (i.e. no FCO restrictions on travelling to Germany due to Coronavirus, flights still flying and the hotel still open, etc.) four days before we were due to depart. Indeed, they sent an email stating that their decision was based on “travel advice from government bodies, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade” – REALLY? We live in the UK and not the Republic of Ireland where the above noted Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade operate.

    However, this was the final straw in a catalogue of incompetence’s from Love Holidays, their lack of communication and disgracefully bad customer service. Firstly, our original flights had been cancelled due to the airline withdrawing the flights, while unfortunate, Love Holidays did not attempt to re-book us on an alternative flight despite offering to do so, and never did respond to any further correspondence or requests to discuss or process this option. Finally, we booked and paid for alternative flights with another airline independently, before having to contact the taxi transfer company on our own to amend the times, due to Love Holidays again not responding to any e-mails, messages on My Holiday Booking page or being able to contact them on the telephone or via Live Chat.

    While we have thankfully had our money refunded from Love Holidays, our holiday was cancelled for no apparent reason and we incurred additional expenses and had to cancel excursions, etc. However, the worst issue was the utter contempt and lack of customers service for us and other customers whom we have heard from on social media. Consequently, we will never book a trip with Love Holidays ever again and would recommend that people avoid this company at all costs. If possible, we would award this company ZERO STARS!!!

    Booked a flight and hotel package to Italy.
    Love holidays have now cancelled the package without a proper explanation. Easyjet had cancelled the flights to Bologna but we managed to find replacements and still want to go ahead.
    Customer service is non existent and you cannot speak to anyone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

    Holiday to Ras Al Khaimah

    I have booked via Love holidays a number of times, when Thomas Cook went bust I was due to fly to Cuba, had a full refund within 3 weeks.
    However my holiday to Dubai (Ras Al Khaimah) was cancelled due to Covid - actually Love Holidays had not contacted me by 2nd July and we were due to fly on 4th July, therefore I looked on the Dubai government website and found out that Dubai was closed for tourism until 7th July. I contacted Love holidays and was then issued a partial credit note, no flights included.
    I thought I would contact Emirates regarding a flight refund, only to find that Love Holidays had changed my flight provider back in April to an airline called JTA - I have never heard of these and do not know who they are. I checked my confirmation only to find out that the flights that Love holidays changed to are non refundable.
    I have messaged Love holidays numerous times via manage my booking, I have received a couple of emails telling me I have a new message only to log in and find that no messages from them are showing up, I have repeatedly asked that they contact me via phone or email, all to no avail. I have requested a full refund on numerous occasions, again no replies. I couldn't find anything on the manage my bookings to submit a complaint so I have finally submitted a complain via the messaging system - no response as yet. This is ridiculous now. I had always rated Love Holidays very highly but I will NEVER book another holiday with them.
    Disgusting treatment of numerous people that have put their faith in this company.

    We arrived for a family holiday in Italy to find that Loveholidays had cancelled our booking, After being charged an admin fee for amending a cancelled flight ourselves (It was the same date, just an hours difference surely they need to pay me for doing their job) Its seems the admin fee was them sorting our transfer as luckily that arrived. On arriving we discovered the our booking had been cancelled. We sat on a bench in Rome for for over two hours panicking as the the phone queue was very long, and we literally may have had nowhere to stay, (you can imagine how stressful this is without children crying over being too hot, thirsty and thoroughly disappointed at this stage). Sooo relieved that they managed to get us a room, we failed to realise that we had not been placed in the upgraded room we paid for, which would have had more space and somewhere to keep our food and drinks cold, After wasting the majority of my holiday trying to get through to an agent on chat and via e-mail (as it was not an emergency) a fridge should have been included in our upgrade, but we resorted to using the sink and paper bin with shop bought ice to keep things cool as it was 40 degree heat!! My advice will be that if you can ever manage to get through to loveholidays, triple and quadruple check everything. I understand these are trying times, but customer service is ultimate. A lot of people arriving at the same resort through Loveholidays also had their bookings cancelled. Even have the decency to answer the multiple e-mails you have received, this may just stop people resorting to leaving bad reviews.

    Like many others my holiday to corsica hasn't happened my flights were cancelled and I've approached the airline for a refund I let love holidays know straight away I've emailed more than 19 times sat on live chat for days no reply about my refund is there another way to contact them as I'm appalled at the complete lack of communication

    Package for Malta departing 02/05/2020

    Having used them several times before I was happy booking with them early this year.

    They are refusing to refund my cancelled flights for 10 months as that is the terms they have with the airline, and they say that are only an intermediary.

    We were due to fly to Florida on Thursday. LoveHolidays left it until the last minute to confirm that we couldn't go, which left me four days to try and rearrange the whole thing! They are uncontactable by phone or email and their webchat has been constantly busy for two whole days. We eventually asked for a full refund, but they have issued us a credit note that we don't want! This means we are without the means to independently rebook our hotel and flights. And we're still not even sure if we will get our flight money back, as they seem to be trying to tell us we have to do the legwork with TUI ourselves - even thought this was an ATOL-protected package. Disgusting service and would NOT recommend them.
