    Lebara Pay as you go SIM

    Ported into Lebara on 6 Nov 2023 from Lyca. Since then, incoming calls from Lyca network does not reach me. Tested via friends to understand incoming calls from Vodafone, BT, EE, Lebara are working fine.

    Raising complaints since then almost daily ... get a confident response - Issue will be resolved in 24 hours time.
    They took 3 weeks to accept it was a porting issue. Sent a replacement SIM, made me reset my phone ... network umpteen number of times - hard luck - nothing resolved the issue.

    Data speeds ... network coverage in my area is great, which was lone reason of moving into Lebara, but it was a mistake - as my family/friends/colleagues who are on Lyca network are unable to reach me.

    Nothing much changed other than someone making a call with more re-assurance. Those re-assurance also stopped after Day 2. The customer care easily washing their hands - issue is with Lyca which Lebara team cannot resolve.

    Nothing much changed. It has been 2 months. Lyca-EE, Lebara-Vodafone : They all are minding their own business.

    Complain re-raised (yeah they just close the previous complant without validating with me as resolved) on 05-Jan-2024 is CAS-1677460-L6N5L7.
    On 10-Jan-2024 had to raise new complain CAS-1696478-D9G4H3 as previous one they wish to close without any resolution, but they think it is resolved.

    Wastage of time for both sides. Incompetent people.

    Customers - beware - you are at the mercy of fate !

    Transferring to new mobile network

    I've recently switched to a new mobile network and it was a really smooth process. The SIM card arrived quickly and their website was really helpful in guiding me through transferring my number. I just followed the instructions, entered my PAC code and temporary number, and picked a date for the switch. I double-checked my mobile data settings like they suggested, and before I knew it, I was all set up on the new network.

    Nothing very special..
    One quality is offers along with few sim cards are super as it is owned by Lebara
    I am using yearly calling offer,data and sometimes international calls.
    When expenses calculated,I found it very special.
    For this you have to check it yourself.

    All sounds good if you do not need them. Great looking website, they say all. the right words, until it goes wrong, then God help you. Went online ordered a SIm card paid half the money as the first months cost? Then it took me to where it said I must top up, oh I thought the half-price was, paid. Must be me so paid again my top up of £5 and then in a loop to where it. said my balance was NIL, paid now three £5 and £2.50 plus (no idea why. £1.95) received 3 Sim's and the phone was working "even with my old number" Looked at the bank account and saw the error phoned Lebara, a really helpful guy said he could see the problem and he would refund £10 (I had not got the energy to ask about the £15 I should have returned. After a few days, the phone said I had run out of credit and I should top up. Even though I paid "dearly for the month". By now steam was coming from me. Needed Valium to say the least. A few days later text chated and the response was oh I see the problem I will refund the other £5. Then as soon as he did this the account said I had to TOP UP as I was down to £3. And to make it worse they had somehow switched off the Auto top-up that I had set up! This company is one of the "worst I have ever dealt with" Go to ANY others but not them unless you tick every box and NEVER need to contact them. Or just don't use a phone. Anything is better than Lebara. Out of 10 is there less than 0?

    Lebara SIM only

    Cannot send or receive texts, or receive phone calls. Every time I call Lebara they say it will be sorted in 48 hours, it never is. Every so often, apparently at random, they send me an email telling me the issue has been resolved; probably just to wind me up.

    Mobile plan purchase

    This phone company is absolutely terrible. They never reply to emails, and because I'm deaf, I can't even ring them up. I cancelled my internet plan, but they're still taking money from me even though I stopped using their SIM card ages ago. They're a dreadful company, don't go near them if you can help it.

    I've been waiting for more than a month to get my two new SIM cards after moving my numbers from a different company. The numbers have moved but I've had to buy prepaid cards to make calls. Every time I phone up, they promise to send new ones but they still haven't arrived. I'm not happy at all with this poor customer service. I wouldn't rate them very highly.

    Purchased the Lebara SIM in error as hadn't realised it was a top-up SIM. Mehula dealt with my call requesting cancellation of the order and refund quickly, efficiently and courteously.

    MSE voucher offer for £40

    I received this voucher from MSE for my brother Finn, yeah? When I tried to use it, the email wouldn't open! I called customer service, and they said "sorry, can't help you, it's outsourced to a cloud company." What does that even mean? I told MSE about it because they are total con artists! Also, the service doesn't work abroad and the coverage is terrible.

    Data strength issues

    I posted a review on that other website because everyone else seems to be raving about it, but I've been having a nightmare with my data signal. It's absolutely terrible! The initial setup was a breeze, but what's the point if I can't even upload a short video without waiting for ages? And let me tell you, the signal drops out completely at random times. It's so annoying! All these networks make big promises but end up delivering a disappointing experience. I just want to be able to use my phone without getting frustrated. Giffgaff is no better, so now I'm at a loss for where to go next!

    Slow porting process

    It's been an absolute nightmare dealing with this company. I've been waiting for a whole four weeks for my phone to be switched over to their network, and I still can't receive any calls or messages. I've tried getting in touch with their customer service team countless times, but all they do is make empty promises that it will be sorted out soon. After getting really frustrated with the lack of progress, I even went as far as to email the CEO, and only then did I finally get an apology. This company is all talk and no action when it comes to actually fixing customer problems. If you ask me, my advice would be to steer well clear of them.

    I signed up for the EU roaming service, but it's never actually worked. Even though customer service said my settings were right, it still doesn't work. The customer service is absolutely terrible - they can't seem to figure out or solve the problems. It's frustrating to keep paying for a service that I never actually get to use.

    SIM card purchase for mobile phone

    I bought a SIM card for my phone not long ago and it didn't go well with the customer service. The online chat people said they'd do things but they didn't, and they just ignored my emails. It's really disappointing and not right that they don't keep in touch and sort out problems. I tried to make things better by sending a complaint, but it's been two weeks now and I've heard nothing back. It's not good at all that they're not taking responsibility and not dealing with our problems properly. It's worrying that they're not interested in sorting things out and just avoiding complaints.

    Bought sim card and topped up for international calls

    I purchased a sim card for just one pound and then topped it up with ten pounds for making international calls. I ended up only using it twice before I couldn't make any more calls. The deal had promised me 100 international minutes, so you can imagine my surprise. But when I tried to get a refund, they simply ignored me and even hung up on me. The service they provide is truly terrible, I definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone. What an absolute waste of money!

    SIM card for mobile phone

    As a customer of this company, I feel really let down by the service I've been getting. I've spoken to the customer support team multiple times about my WiFi calling issue, and even though they promised to fix it, nothing has been done. I've been in touch with them every day for a week now and the problem still hasn't been resolved. It's just so frustrating that they haven't followed through on their promises and dealt with my concerns quickly. I expected better from a company with such a good reputation.

    EU roaming nightmare

    Roaming in the EU with this company is an absolute nightmare! They promised it would work smoothly, but it never does. Their customer service is a joke - they never return calls and make you wait on hold forever. The three of us tried to get it to work in two EU countries, spending hours on the phone with no luck. Their service is just terrible, and their adverts are totally misleading. We switched to a different provider and couldn't be more pleased!

    Data connection

    I recently got a data plan from this service provider, and I have to say I'm really let down with the data connection. For the last two weeks in Hull, I've been facing weak data connection. Even after trying numerous times to fix it, the issue still remains. It's been a real hassle because I use my data a lot for work and personal stuff. I really hope they sort this out soon because it's not right for a service provider to have such rubbish connectivity.
